There is no role of caste system in this decision. I am from the same state as her and have been a on and off witness since her childhood. She is a very good player and has given her 100% in achieving her goals with the support of her family and coaches mentors. Ultimately, it's her decision as its her future. And she is not the first one to make a change. I am happy that she did her best and I wish her all the best as a fellow sports player.
Money and success are always relative. If her brother is doing interesting stuff at NASA, maybe she can see a path in her studies to things far greater than she can get to in TT. She is already an Olympian. What is the next step? Multiple? She wants a medal.
