  1. Singapore Smash 2026, Singapore, 2/19-3/1

    What's going on with Truls?
  2. Singapore Smash 2026, Singapore, 2/19-3/1

The first one was very close for Truls.
  3. Singapore Smash 2026, Singapore, 2/19-3/1

I am very pleased with LYJ. And indeed, he has been playing very consistently lately. I am happy. His forehand has improved even more, but his backhand timing remains superior. Hopefully the semi-final against Truls and the final against WCQ.
  4. Singapore Smash 2026, Singapore, 2/19-3/1

    Twice too steep a throw.
  5. Singapore Smash 2026, Singapore, 2/19-3/1

Another noteworthy development at LJH is that now that TTR is in place, which checks whether the serve is indeed behind the table, LJH has apparently suddenly adapted completely. After years of starting his serve from beside the table and serving beyond the baseline, from where he could improve...
  6. Singapore Smash 2026, Singapore, 2/19-3/1

That was the wrong "call" by the umpire. If the umpire had made this call from his service side, it would have been pointless anyway, because he would never have been able to determine that correctly. From the camera side (or the opposing referee) it was already clear that it was a good service.
  7. Singapore Smash 2026, Singapore, 2/19-3/1

I love Adriana, well, her playing, that is.;) She played well, but it wasn't that difficult against a truly substandard Kihara.
  8. Singapore Smash 2026, Singapore, 2/19-3/1

Left-handers remain a difficult clip to get around!:D
  9. Singapore Smash 2026, Singapore, 2/19-3/1

This was a very poor match from Miyuu. I have rarely seen her play so poorly. It was not worth watching.
  10. Singapore Smash 2026, Singapore, 2/19-3/1

Not only that, left-handed with great ball control and a strong backhand who knows when to play parallel shots.
  11. Saive brothers vs Lebrun brothers

If it were to take place in Belgium, I think there would be slightly less interest than if it were organised somewhere in northern France. If I were Philippe Saive, I would look for a location close to the Belgian-French border.
  12. Saive brothers vs Lebrun brothers

There is a rumour that there will be an exhibition match for charity between both brothers. I wonder if the offer will be accepted and where and when this match will take place.
  13. Singapore Smash 2026, Singapore, 2/19-3/1

It's been a long time since we've seen anything from Cederic Nuytinck, but these two were very promising. Tomorrow against Kirill Gerassimenko it will be even more difficult, but we're keeping our fingers crossed!
  14. Can a European Forehand have advantages over a Chinese style forehand?

Is the Chinese (long arm swing) still taught today? I'm still of the old school, so I've never known anything else but using your wrist at the end, which allows you to correct the direction you want to go in, but I think that with hybrid rubbers it's now better and easier to use the short...
  15. My Top 10 best ALL+/OFF- (low intermediate) table tennis blades in 2026

Definitely, but it's a very good all-wood racket. In my opinion, it's not the best they've ever made. I think that would be their Temper Tech ALL+.
