I wasn’t implying he was stagnating - I was however agreeing that his game style has it’s limitations when facing players with superior movement or weapons such as FH, which in my view all those listed have. I think his results in ‘23/24 vs CNT players have not been very good.

For me it's not limited to Wang, but rather any player with a higher level of FH attack.

I agree completely - his weapons just don't look effective against the CNT players

My Falcima was not much slower than my Viscaria (1380hz vs 1460hz) but had an all wood feel and Koto outer feel. My Virtuoso was a very different blade, much softer feel (Limba I think) and also slower - handle also felt very different.

Butterfly Falcima is one good option and ticks your boxes.

Not my experience at all. Grippy not tacky, feels softer than it is, loads of spin and control and pretty easy to play if you have a decent technique - best FH rubber I’ve played by far.

Thanks - makes sense. I need to focus on finding and identifying that catch and release feeling I guess. When you say BH hit - what exactly do you mean (Flat hit or more open blade topspin?)
