  1. Questions for Dimitrij Ovtcharov and Lee Sang Su

For Dima: Could he compare Chinese SuperLeague and Bundesliga? Is it true that he was EJ on blades?😁 In Russia there is really a lot of "Ovtcharov's" blades selling( made by DHS, BTY and so on)(just curious) For Lee Sang Su: how did he develop the flexibility in game? His movements are so...
  2. I have to choose a cheap chinese rubber. H3 NEO, 729 Bloom series, 729 Battle 2s, STN.

Hey there. Can someone please compare H3 Neo comm. 40, 729 Bloom Power/Arc, 729 B2 Gold, STN, Jupiter 3, BD 39/40 and H3 Nat BS 39. I'm looking for a forehand rubber for the TB ALC. I've used H3 Nat, B2 Gold, Big Dipper and STN from the list. I feel H3 is too demanding, B2 is too hard, STN is...
  3. Need some review of the new Friendship 729 Battle 2 Neo

B2 Gold but quickly changed to STN because Gold is even harder to play than Blue Sponged version
  4. Need some review of the new Friendship 729 Battle 2 Neo

1 layer is enough. B2 is pretty fast out of the package and has a nice dwell time. B2 BS is a good option. It is fast, spinny, grippy, and is very easy to play with. It is super linear. I stopped using it because at the end of the day I get tired and can't get even 60% of this rubber. I suggest...
  5. Friendship 729 Battle 2 National vs Friendship 729 Battle 3

B2 Gold smells af. I'm sure it's factory boosted. It's a great rubber to use but for me 40 deg is a bit too hard. I wish they released B2 Gold 39 cause I really like BS Prov 39 but i feel it lacks some bite on the ball and the grip is not that close to B2 Gold. I boosted B2 Gold with 2 Seamoon...
  6. Hurricane 3 tips

I feel when I try to engage the sponge with H3 OS the ball has little to no spin. I usually brush really fast with the tacky rubbers and then the ball goes deeper into the sponge by itself and I get a fast and spinny loop. Could you tell how do you do a powerful shot with hurricane please?
  7. How low is your stance (for loops etc)

Your stance height can be changed depending on incoming ball. If the ball is high , it's stupid to get absurdly low and you can't make a high-quality shot when you meet a low ball while standing upright. Basic stance should be the height when it doesn't slow down your footwork. If you NEED to...
  8. Worst names of table tennis rubbers?

I think this rubber is really hard to find
  9. dignics 05 vs. 09c.

D09 is sticky while D05 is not. I don't think there is a difference in sensitiveness to spin. Just D09c has less rebound.
  10. What's your favourite match?

My favs are: 1.Truls vs WCQ Olympics 2024 2.Kallberg vs Harimoto Olympics 2024 3.Harimoto vs FZD Olympics 2024 4.Truls vs FZD Olympics Teams 2024 5.Harimoto vs FZD Team World Championships 2022 6.Schlager vs WLQ 2003 WC 7.ML vs Dima Olimpics 2020 As you can see I really enjoyed watching the...
  11. Battle of the best FH rubbers

    What's about B2 rubbers?
  12. Quick question on boosting Dignics 05

once I bought a used D05 sheet. The topsheet was worn enough but still grippy. I was used to play chinese rubbers with tremendous amount of grip so at first I disliked D05. Than gave it 1 layer of baby oil. It curved a bit like my chinese rubbers(I dont understand how people boost and their...
  13. What is more profitable: regular reboosting a cheap Chinese rubbers or buying a Euro/Jap Hybrid?

Yep, new glue gives some elasticity but after the reglue the rubber still doesn't perform as well it performed after the first boost. I have H3 BS 40 Neo National. I have bubbled it several times haha. And I feel the rubber is too hard for my liking. And it's still pricey af.
  14. What is more profitable: regular reboosting a cheap Chinese rubbers or buying a Euro/Jap Hybrid?

I feel when the first boost evaporates there's still tension but no elasticity. When I reboost the elasticity is there but the sponge is mushy and doesn't have so much tension. Now I don't boost at all.
  15. Flip technique difference: Medium/Soft Tensor vs. Hard Tacky rubber

Big THANKS to you. Today I was able to flick with D05 everything thanks to you and this video. Closed->Opened angle is really important thing in flicking short balls. I used to dislike D05's grip but now I got the point and my flicks became very spinny. But again if I'm not into the position...
  16. Flip technique difference: Medium/Soft Tensor vs. Hard Tacky rubber

To gain the confidence you have to flip consistently on trainings. Yea, you should get a coach who will correct mistakes. It's the easiest way. Also you can record yourself on a camera and compare yours flip to some professional's flips. Although I have a coach I use the second one more because...
  17. Big Dipper, Loki Arthur China experience.

I would agree with you on this rubber if I kept playing it on a carbon blade - 729 Blue ALC. But recently I switched to a 7 plywood stiff blade and I fell in love with this rubber on FH. I have the 39 Prov BS version(mine is in red if that matters). The thing I really like in this Battle is...
  18. Friendship 729 battle 3

Wow, I'm glad that you found rubbers that suit your blade. As for me, I find it difficult to find a rubber that pairs well with Blue ALC. The rubbers I liked on this blade: 729 Battle 2 Gold boosted 729 Battle 2 Prov BS 39 unboosted(haven't tried boosted but sure it will go well) Yinhe Moon 12...
  19. What are your favourite hybrid rubbers?

D09c for BH is great. G09c is a bit less great. Dragon Grip is great for FH. But there's nothing better than H3 BS Nat. J3 and BD feel a bit dull, not much feedback.
  20. Help with shortening movements / being more compact

I have long BH follow through which is really annoying so I can't get any power and consistency. Interested if there are some tips or drills that could help or I just have to always think about it?
