  1. Tenergy 05 but less bouncy

I agree on the G1, but Vega Europe is no way near a replacement for T05. It's much softer and slower. Instead, I like to suggest Joola Dynaryz ACC. Solid rubber, not crazy fast, decent amount of catapult but definitely not as "springy" as T05. Downside of Dynaryz ACC is its price: it's the same...
  2. Tactics Against Player with Long Arms

Fully agree what has been said in this thread already: place the ball on his middle/in his pocket 👍
  3. Looking pure Wood blade for developing my skill , Korbel etc

If I'm not mistaken the Mazunov is going (or already) EOL. Lovely old school BTY blade indeed, but like you said, it's for advanced players. It's a hard and fast blade, but even for plastic ball it's fast. Besides, it's pretty heavy and I haven't seen it below 95gr. Hence, >100gr is most common...
  4. WTT Champions Macao 2022

Big shout out to Bernadette indeed! Amazing performance!
  5. Lebrun brothers join Tibhar

Great game by Alexis indeed! Looks like he used Shang Kun Hybrid AC blade....or at least the same scales. We might see an A.LeBrun AC blade from Tibhar in time ;)
  6. Why would you use short pips?

This has to be by far the biggest nonsense I've read in a long while on this (or any other) forum. I don't know how the TT environment is in your area, but I sincerely hope this is not the general opinion of TT players in your area. In my area (south of Netherlands) people simply choose what...
  7. Viscaria for a beginner

Good choice and a wise decision. Good luck in developing and improving your game!
  8. Viscaria for a beginner

    Well said and fully agree.
  9. Butterfly FZD ALC - first impressions.

Thanks for sharing your first impressions. Did not expect the remark that FZD generates more spin compared to Viscaria. In other reviews (which are still limited indeed) it's mentioned FZD generates bit more speed but less spin vs. Viscaria. Looking forward your follow up impressions ;)
  10. Fan Zhendong blade series!!

I mentioned it in another thread as well, but I believe the FZD handle is a copy of the Stiga Infinity handle. ... Which would actually be a good thing :)
  11. Butterfly Fan Zhendong blades

I thought the handle looked bigger then usual from BTY. Too me, it actually looked like the Infinity handle, which is a kind of bulky. Ah well, letś see. I´m sure the FZD ALC will be a winner for BTY.
  12. Butterfly Fan Zhendong blades

It will be a viscaria/boll with Infinity-like handle :) If you watch the Indonesian SmashBack game ML vs FZD, FZD´s blade is a couple of times visible in a closeup when he serves. The handle really looks like Infinity but with the typical BTY little lens.
  13. new equipment for 2022/23

Nice blade. Too bad Nittaku handles in general are way too thin (and I don't like using griptape on a handle) Weird marketing text: "the large headsize help to generate more spin and speed". Not sure how a large headsize would help to generate more speed?! 🤨
  14. Joola Xylo 5 & 7 Blades Review

Blades are made in China.I'm using the Xylo 7 for some time now (Dynaryz CMD in FH and Rhyzen CMD in BH). Built quality is good. Had to sand the wings just a tiny bit, but that's personal preference. Smooth handle and fits my hand nicely (FL). As expected for a 7 ply, it's not as flexible as a...
  15. Carbon vs Wood

I tried an incredible number of blades and rubbers in the OFF-/OFF range, but I keep coming back to all-wood blades. Stiga Infinity is a very solid blade for loop and currently trying some 7-ply blades (Xylo 7 and Szocs 1). Yesterday during practise tried ALC inner again, but quickly came...
  16. Be honest guys: you don't need carbon blades

Exactly this. We are on the same page here! 😁As long as we are enoying ourselves. 😎
  17. STIGA Cybershape Blade Review | With Truls Moregard

Thanks for sharing. In all fairness, this is actually not a review. It's a commercial ;)
  18. Differences between Andro's 7-ply blades

Tibhar Scozs Signature 1 might be decent candidate? (think the Dynamic J7 is nearly identical to the Szocs blade) Check out ThePongProfessor's review on YT Testing the Tibhar Bernadette Szocs Signature 1 table tennis blade: 7-ply speed with 5-ply control - YouTube
  19. What is STIGA Cybershape?

I appreciate a good joke and some laughs for sure, but jokes aside, I'm happy to see there is a fresh innovation on equipment. Some of you are already judging without trying out the blade and experience it for yourself. May I remind you, that there have been other innovations which we currently...
  20. choosing a new allwood blade

True. There are exceptions, like Joola Xylo for example. Xylo 5 = 6.9/7.0mm vs Xylo 7 = 6.6/6.7mm. The Xylo 5 uses a thicker core. (source: yogi_bear review)
