  1. Tibhar Hybrid MK review

Never tried Hybrid K3 as I feared it would be too hard for my liking. When Tibhar introduced the Hybrid MK, I was curious so I purchased 2 sheets in 2.0mm. Current setup: Viscaria (87gr), FH: Bluegrip S2, BH: Hexer Grip. Played with the MK on both FH and BH a couple of weeks in the meantime...
  2. wide fit shoes

Had the first Stiga Liner and these are surely not for people with wide feet! Can't comment on the Liner II. Still by far, for me the best shoes are Mizuno Medal. Suited for my wide feet and offer decent support. Tried Mizuno Drive but these don't offer enough support. Mizuno is not the cheapest...
  3. Stiga Cybershape Wood Review

    Thanks for the review Yogi!
  4. Timo Boll vs Truls Moregardh | FINAL | German Cup 2023

Outcome was expected, but great game indeed. Timo isn't definitely not as fast anymore, but he showed he is still a great player.
  5. ? ? BTY Viscaria price increased massively

That's true....to a certain extend. If this was the case, prices should be increased across the board. But in this case , it's just a single product.
  6. Tibhar MX-K H and MX-K M

I expect 2 sheets Hybrid MK (red & black in 2.0mm) to arrive by the end of this week. After some training sessions, happy to share my thoughts on it. Won't be able to compare to any other Tibhar Hybrid xx rubbers though.
  7. ? ? BTY Viscaria price increased massively

💰 💸 BTY Viscaria price increased massively Just noticed that BTY increased the price of the Viscaria blade in Europe from 129,90 to 169,90 EURO 🤑 That's a price increase of 31% ! As all other ALC blades remained the same price, the only reason I can think about, is that Viscaria is still their...

    Thanks for the nice review.
  9. World Rubber Market YouTube Channel

Yeah, I check them out now and then as well. Nice channel.
  10. The Dark Side of Table Tennis | AntiSpin

OMG....again this nonsense about "no self-respect & social acceptance by two wing loopers" @james Z or whatever your name is. Would be nice if you show the topic starter some respect by actually talk about the topic which is ANTI @Andrea_Aschi, nice touch on the title of the clip, where you...
  11. 1.8 vs 2.0 vs 2.2 vs max Thicknes °-° I'm confused

I agree with Creek on this matter. Besides the weight, max rubbers feel numb to me as well. Many amateur players choose max thickness by default, without actually understanding the true pro and cons. If one actually understands these pro and cons, I'm convinced many players would actually...
  12. Korean Coach presents INTERESTING PROGRESSION for FH Topspin

Thanks for sharing Der Echte. Some useful tips.
  13. Recommended Table Tennis Shoes

One more vote for Mizuno. I have wide feet and shoes from TT brands are often too narrow for me. Mizuno TT shoes are by default a bit wider. Tried to Wave Drive, however they don't provide enough support and personally, the Wave Medal are by far my favorite TT shoes.
  14. TableTennisDaily's YouTube Channel is back!!!

Great to have the channel back !!!
  15. TableTennisDaily YouTube Channel Down - WE NEED YOUR HELP!

  16. Viscaria with more control

You can use the European BTY website: en.butterfly.tt On the Dutch BTY website there is also no weight selection, that's why I don't use that website. Got myself a 85gr Viscaria and it's slower compared to higher end 80's or 90+ gr blade, while still maintaining that crisp ALC feeling. Edit...
  17. Long pips ox or sandwich?

Hi, I have no intention to switch to long pips, but asking for my team member. :) He is using Tibhar Grass long pips with 0.5mm sandwich. Plays close the table, has a strong FH and uses his backhand (close to the table) to disrupt the rally. He does not attack with his pips. Question: Would he...
  18. Which one from 3 Inner carbon blades

I tried the Rossi Emotion many years ago, but could not get used to the Hinoki outer ply. Hinoki is a very soft type of wood (500-800 lbf) and it holds the ball longer compared to other type of wood. Generally speaking, a softer blade is able to generate more spin. Soft blade with relative firm...
  19. Which one from 3 Inner carbon blades

I can say great things about these 3 blades, however, that won't do you any good. Despite all 3 blades have carbon, they are very different blades (as mentioned by other forum members before). The questions you should ask yourself: Why are you looking for a new blade? What didn't you like of...
  20. Feedback and suggestions on my TT bats

I have no experience on the chinese equipment, so I won't comment on these. 1) There is no such thing as good combo of blade and rubbers. A good combo, is a combo YOU feel comfortable with (despite what everyone else is saying) 2) Generally: yes. As tacky rubbers are not that fast so the...
