  1. Qatar Open - ttGuru's Stats

Congratulations to the winners, and to Lee Jung Woo! Regards, ttGuru
  2. Injury - how to deal with it?

Damn, an arrow to the knee! I'd ask Belethor, he sells just about anything. At least you don't have Ataxia, although you do look rather pale.......
  3. Kuwait Open 2012 - ITTF World Tour

Oh you guarantee it!? Well perhaps we should make a wager... $10 says Kim Min Seok wins the Men's Singles, and the same for you with Joo Se Hyuk. You'd better hope Joo doesn't meet Lee Jung Woo. What say you, Duckfella?
  4. Kuwait Open 2012 - ITTF World Tour

Also, we mustn't forget the very real threat from Avo Moumjoghlian, who's ranked even lower than your ttdaily post-tally. He could blow Joo out of the water and become the first ever Middle Eastern Pro Tour champion!
  5. Kuwait Open 2012 - ITTF World Tour

Negative. Joo will not take this title. The 2012 Kuwait Open will be Kim Min Seok's debut, and he's going to do it in style. Of course I'm secretly (not so secretly) hoping Kenta will stand on the top of the podium.
  6. Qatar Open 2012 - ITTF World Tour

Thank you Geca, I hoped this match would be posted on YouTube. You always provide an excellent service. Thank you again!
  7. Waldner or Ma Long?

Remember, it was even faster in Walder's era with the 38mm ball and speed glue! That's one more reason we can't compare the two players. Waldner was in his prime with the 38mm ball...
  8. Could Australia one day have a world tour event?

England has hosted numerous Pro Tour events in the past. Infact, the first ever Pro Tour Open tournament was the 1996 Kettering Open. Australia ran no less than four events, in 1996, '97, '98, '99. The first was in Brisbane, and the next three in Melbourne. Not sure if Timo played, but Ma Lin...
  9. Waldner or Ma Long?

What a disappointing crowd. This sort of discussion is what forums are for!
  10. Waldner or Ma Long?

Agreed, but it would still be an amazing match. To be honest I don't believe Ma Long has reached his peak yet... He'll be devastating when that time comes!
  11. Qatar Open 2012 - ITTF World Tour

Just finished watching Live Streaming of qualification round, Alexey Liventsov vs Mihae Bobocica. It was a full on match going to 7 sets, with many great points, including the last point! For any who are interested, the match should be available on ITtv soon. Really hope this one gets on YouTube ;)
  12. Waldner or Ma Long?

Ma Long has been around for a long time, I saw him in 2003 at his first Junior Circuit event in New Zealand. Also, let's not forget Ma Long beat Timo Boll at the age of 16, at the 2005 China Open. Boll was then ranked no.3 in the world. Players like Yan An and Fang Bo were not good enough at 16...
  13. Qatar Open 2012 - ITTF World Tour

World Championships are beginning March 25, ending on April 1st. They're being held in Germany this year, so should draw a good crowd.
  14. Europe Top 12 - 2012

Such a chance for a surprise winner this year! In my view the only players who have zero chance to win are Weixing and Gardos. hahaha, imagine if Waldner entered this, and added another title to his name 7 years after retirement ;)
  15. Europe Top 12 - 2012

7/12 of the women are Asian -_______-
  16. Whats your ranking?

Well, ok... but I'm sure I'd be no.1 there, provided they even have a table hahahahaha ;)
  17. Whats your ranking?

Hi all, I'm no.1 in Marshall Islands :o
  18. Slovenia Open - ttGuru's stats

As we can see, the women had almost half the percentage of 7-set matches compared to men, and considerably more 4-set matches. This particular page doesn't show very clearly those results, because best of 5 and best of 7 set matches are all included together. Other sheets were made to display...
  19. Slovenia Open - ttGuru's stats

Those statistics were not included because I didn't want the page to be too cluttered. Here, this is a screenshot of the excel main page, it has all the information you asked for.
  20. Slovenia Open - ttGuru's stats

None of the same names were disqualified in both events, but it was sad to see Chen Hongtao from Canada get DSQ'd. He had just come through his group with tough games including a victory over Quentin Robinot. Kim Min Seok would have to be the biggest casualty this time round. He had beaten Mihai...
