    in the current tournament there is the open category, and also the JUNIOR category which is up to high school students (18) if im correct in younger categories, there is also an All-Japan tournament but the dates are different. for veteran categories, the tournament is called "All-Japan Masters"

    actually foreigners are not allowed to play in Zennihon singles. only doubles. but they have of course to earn their place through a qualification tournament. [there is one for each prefecture] I did try already 4 times just because we're allowed to, although we know we have no chance at all...
