  1. Should I give up using tensor on backhand?

Play with what feels most comfortable for you; there’s no right set up. But you should probably change your username 😂
  2. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

The blade is definitely 5+2. You can see the layers here https://www.nittaku.com/products/rackets/post-154 All other websites selling it have said the same thing. Core is one layer of ayous (look at the holes in the wood). Top is limba (hinoki is smoother and doesn’t have as many parallel...
  3. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

Haven’t tried it yet. I will say though, I’ve used D05 on my Viscaria and the D05 feels better on this blade, specifically in flicks. The balls are faster and because the throw angle of this blade is lower, balls also land more consistently with my BH with D05 using H2. I actually don’t like D05...
  4. I'm currently in full EJ mode. What other rubbers should I try?

So you want a European rubber that’s linear? Like Rozena?
  5. Dilemma between 968 and FZD ALC

Awesome! Let me know your thoughts when you get it
  6. Rubbers on fh with lower throw arc

Try playing the H3N unboosted. I know everyone says you have to boost to play H3N, but oftentimes, I'll just slap it onto a blade when I'm too lazy to boost and it's still perfectly playable. You don't get the same speed as a boosted rubber obviously, but it's very linear. Or you can try the...
  7. Dilemma between 968 and FZD ALC

Another thing to consider - I'm personally becoming a fan of the oversized heads these days; just makes it a easier to block and actually hit the ball. One of the reasons why I'm starting to shift more towards innerfiber blades. I used a very similar setup on the FZD ALC for a few months (DHS...
  8. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

The W968 has the smallest handles out of those three; sometimes I feel like it's too small for me so I feel like it would work for you. I think the TMXi Pro handle is slightly larger than the H2 but it feels more comfortable. The shoulders of the H2 are pretty wide so it rubs against the side of...
  9. I'm currently in full EJ mode. What other rubbers should I try?

Echoing the post about the Xiom Omega 7 series. I especially love the Omega 7 Pro on backhand - AJH uses it on his BH. The tour is too fast and bouncy for me; doable if you use a slow wooden blade like the HAL (actually the setup that Hugo uses).
  10. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

Oh I see it now. Not sure if they’re Gyoen or Soten just because the handles looks so different. Might be a prototype.
  11. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

The emblem is also different. She has two parallel lines. The Gyoen is a gold box with the words Gyoen.
  12. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

Look at the bottom of each blade. Hers is red. Gyoen is black.
  13. Dilemma between 968 and FZD ALC

I would suggest trying the Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 or the Xiom TMXi Pro. For me, these blades gave me somewhat of a combined W968 FH and FZD ALC BH.
  14. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

I don’t think she is. If you take a look at her equipment on Ping Sunday you can see that the bottom of her blade is red. The Gyoen has a black outline and is black at the bottom. I would be somewhat surprised if she is using an outer ALC blade as it seems most of the top Asian players are all...
  15. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

The Soten is a toned down version of the H2. Easier to put on table but the ball quality is significantly worse. If you value high consistency and ease of play, it’s not a bad choice. I would recommend foregoing the Soten and choosing the H2 instead. The Soten is nothing special and feels...
  16. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

The TMXi Pro is one of my favorite blades. It’s between the H2 and the W968. The H2 feels more like ZLC so the TMXi Pro makes sense since there’s a combination of ALC and ZLC. It’s slightly slower than H2 but greater control. Faster than W968 and a lot easier to play. Honestly, the differences...
  17. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

Hi all, this is my first review so please bear with me. Like many of you, I’m sort of an EJ and have been rotating through a wide variety of blades and rubbers lately. I usually have about 10 blades that have rubbers and I’ll often switch the rubbers between blades. Some of the blades I’m...
  18. Joola Zhou Qihao 45 and 90 blades review

How does the ZQH 90 compare to Viscaria Super ALC?
  19. Joola Zhou Qihao 90 vs Butterfly Viscaria Super ALC?

Has anyone tried these blades and can compare them?
