  1. finding cheap Viscaria

I would say on lower power shots yes, more bouncy. But when I start to hit hard Vis for me feels a bit soft and flexy. On lower power shots I kind of like the bit bouncy and soft Vis more but I rarely win with weak shots and the extra speed of the blade isn't bad if you use slower rubbers like...
  2. Has anyone tried Hovering Dragon Dynamic Version?

In China this dynamic version costs 93rmb on taobao, the standard Chinese one 88rmb or something like that. Not much difference.
  3. Has anyone tried Hovering Dragon Dynamic Version?

I tried in 2020 the original Japanese cake sponge one. Not sure if it's the same or not. That was really nice. Light, fast, great grip. I still prefer that one the most.
  4. finding cheap Viscaria

You could try to get the Yinhe D-715 or Stiga Inspira Plus. I think these are better than most Viscarias. It's not so easy to buy a good Viscaria, many of them are dull, slow, in comparison and their handles are a bit thin (for me). If you like a bit thinner handle then maybe original Viscaria...
  5. Elbow getting very sore.... would a lighter racket help?

The people whom I know had, have tennis or golf elbow usually grip the racket handle so hard all the time. Some don't even do any big hits, on the contrary actually, but they still grip the handle strongly like they wanna squeeze out the moisture... Not sure if this applies to you or anyone...
  6. DHS poor quality top layer

From the video it looks normal to me and very DHS like. I can kind of see the sawdust in the grain of the wood which is 100% DHS characteristic... Limba can have these kinds of grains. Some other woods are more smooth, like hinoki or rosewood and even koto, but for limba this is normal.
  7. Effective training aid for small money.

I thought it's gonna be some viagra related thing... Well knowing igor and his love for swelling agents... can I be blamed for thinking that? 😸
  8. Liang Jingkun signs with LOKI

He should use the Blue sponge H3 on his backhand like in 2020 or when he experimented with that. It worked out pretty well for him in those times 😎
  9. Sponge hardness is not the end of story...

T25 has large diameter pips, of course it is harder to squeeze into the sponge than T05, no wonder T64 and T19 feel the softest. Actually it's one of the reason why D09c isn't _that_ much harder than D05.
  10. Did Lin Gaoyuan get sponsored by a new brand? His backhand rubber has purple sponge

Most likely it's Joola. He doesn't need to be signed to any brand to use their rubbers.
  11. 729 Bloom Power

Hmmm, looks more interesting than Bold Dragon actually. The sponge looks similar to K3. Would be nice to have a chinese hybrid similar to K3 even if not as good, but more durable.
  12. Yasaka Bold Dragon - Review

Actually the topsheet looks good quality, especially the black one and the sponge seems to have some pores so it's a bit confusing why it's reported slow. Like how slow is it, unboosted Chinese rubber slow?
  13. Switch away from Chinese FH rubber, what to choose?

Even though it's a Chinese rubber but the Yasaka Hovering dragon harder version might be what you look for. Alternatively there's Mantra Pro H or XH too.
  14. best tt shoe?

Hey, I find them to be comparable with lezoline shoes from butterfly or wave drive regarding cushioning. Wave medal indeed is a harder shoe. You might wanna try a badminton shoe if you are looking for more cushioning. For sure they are softer but also the midsole is thicker so... In my wave...
  15. Double Fish samples has arrived - what is your opinions?

I think the Qiji topsheet is quite interesting. It's sticky differently than other Chinese rubbers. The VP is pretty usually sticky. It's hard to describe. Liek the Qiji stickiness is very thin but still sticky while other Chinese rubbers have a deeper sticky feel. I kind of wish DF would...
  16. Quan Shi Bao is amazing

I tried the F1 Power on players racket. I would say it's quite similar to STN in play. However it says a lot that he plays with prov orange H3 and he obviously prefers that. It's an okay buy but it's 100-130rmb while the Sanwei Target 3 which is the same as STN can be bought for 40rmb.
  17. Rubber cost, durability and initial cost?

The Rakza Z durability is comparable and the price is about half of Dignics. But D09c is a lot lighter than Rakza Z (at least than the extra hard), more consistent too. I don't wanna get into performance since both are good in their own way. The C-touch German rubbers durability is bad so those...
  18. Yasaka Bold Dragon - Review

I'm quite interested about it. I saw that Russian dude gave it a meh rating. I'm in China now and while I was interested in it and it only costs 93 rmb on taobao, after I seen that meh rating I was like not even worth my time to try it. 😑
  19. Double Fish samples has arrived - what is your opinions?

I think the red Qiji, the so called loop king is much much better than the blue. I'd take the Volant Phoenix any day over the blue Qiji. VP is cheaper and can be boosted better too.
