  2. Strategy for dealing with Harimoto's screaming

Ok, I had been following this discussion and reading the comments shared by forum members. Some of us find it totally unnecessary to shout and cho on every point while for others it doesn't matters. But at some level, each of us notices it and definitely it gets registered in our mind. Also, it...
  3. andro allwood blades

Thanks man, that really helps. Thanks for a quick input. I read that Andro quality is quite good, so I was willing to try an Andro setup. I am currently using ZJK ALC/Timo Boll ALC with Tenergy 05 and 05FX. Mostly, I will try the Rasanter R47 (FH) and R42(BH) on the same blade. As I am not very...
  4. andro allwood blades

Can you also share your experiences with FI OFF blade which you have used in the past? Also, since the blades from Andro (especially the composite blades) are more on 90 gms weight or heavier, how does the overall setup feels with rubbers, is it balanced or is it too head heavy?
  5. DAN PLAYS REAL MATCH! | TableTennisDaily Team | Ep 8

Team TTD is awesome! These series really showcases your passion and commitment to the game. I am an instant fan of this series and couldn't wait for more. This time around, your opponents were real good and they deserve an applause for their game. I really liked the way the left-handed player...
  6. Donic Rubbers similar to Rakza 7?

Sonex JP Gold, Coppa JO Gold. They are similar but not the same. Since these are previous gen. tensors the topsheet might differ and thus the life. I believe the Rakza 7 does offer a better life. But from the controlled play perspective, you will not notice too much difference.
  7. Donic Waldner Senso Ultra Carbon (V1) - Rubber Suggestions

Thanks, I am glad that I was helpful and gave you some meaningful inputs. As I mentioned that the blade tends to head heavy due to hollow handle. You might want to get a softer/lighter weight rubber(s) if it becomes too head heavy. If you check my previous comments, I did mention using M3 on the...
  8. Very close-up photos: Butterfly ZJK ALC

Just the handle variation and slightly better built and packaging.
  9. Donic Waldner Senso Ultra Carbon (V1) - Rubber Suggestions

I used Donic WSUC for 9 years. I played with Donic Sonex JP Gold on both sides. Later, I moved to Bluefire M2 on Forehand and Bluefire M3 on Backhand. The blade has a hollow handle and thus tends to be head heavy. I still sometimes use it with Rakza 7 on both sides which works just fine. You...
  10. Gaining high ball attack from your serve

I had faced and sometimes still face this issue on my serves. When I started learning Table tennis initially, I had a lot of time on my own and I was very much impressed with a heavy backspin serve made famous by Ma Lin. I tried and tried and eventually I was able to do a heavy backspin serve...
  11. New Xiom Novus blades (Redesigned)

Hi Yogi, Please can you compare the speed of Extreme S against TB ALC or a ZJK ALC?
  12. 5 Steps To Master The Reverse Pendulum Serve | Table Tennis

Yes, you have made a very valid point and I agree.
  13. 5 Steps To Master The Reverse Pendulum Serve | Table Tennis

Hi Dan, I am avid follower of your videos and reviews. I would like to make a suggestion here. Many players are aware of how to make a reverse pendulum serve, but are afraid of using it in a match. This includes me. Many amateur players work on different serves but we don't know the correct...
  14. Win a Viscaria blade signed by Kalinikos Kreanga!

Score 11 - 4 in favor of Kreanga
  15. older players and their equipments

Sorry to hear that. I am big fan of Karakasevic. Never knew that he smoked, however, that is a personal matter. I like to way he approaches serve receives and how he creates angles during rallies. Recently, i can only see him playing in the Challenger Series. Also, I noticed that he is not able...
  16. Dignics 05 vs Tenergy 05 | With Timo Boll

Awesome new series Dan! and that too the first video with no one other than Timo Boll. Great information shared with comparisons on both rubbers. However, now if I think of it, I gather that Dignics 05 has lower throw, less catapult and more grip. But so does Stiga Genesis S II or Donic Bluegrip...
  17. How to remove head heaviness

As suggested you can perform a DIY by opening the handle and adding some fillings in the wood cavity. Other option could be to use a grip tape on the handle which would bring the balance more towards the handle.
  18. Liam Pitchford signs with Victas. Plans to use V>15 Extra rubber

It will be very interesting to see how Liam Pitchford adopts to new rubbers while coming from Tenergy series.
  19. Stiga Clipper Classic vs Stiga Clipper CR WRB

Stiga Classic = Vanila version, Limba outer plies with Ayous core. Stiga CR WRB = Same as Clipper classic, but the outermost Limba layer is treated to make it feel harder and direct on strokes. WRB = Is basically Stiga way of marketing hollow handle which promotes head heaviness and therefore...
  20. repairing my rubber.

There is no way to repair it, you can try putting it back with some T.T. glue but I doubt that it will stick. If it is torn at the edge then it should not affect your strokes and general play. Otherwise, just get a new sheet.
