  1. Anybody tried Donic Bluestorm Pro?

https://www.donic.com/donic/en/rubbers/4147/donic-bluestorm-pro?c=33 Anybody tried Bluestorm Pro before? According to Donic's own ratings, this must be the fastest rubber in the world at 11+. Tibhar MXP is already very fast, but I think that was only given a 10+ speed rating. Is BS Pro...
  2. Recommended Table Tennis Shoes

If you want something cheap and good, I recommend Kawasaki badminton shoes for $30 on Aliexpress.
  3. Are Haifu rubbers good?

I just want to practice with them. Not planning on playing any serious tournaments. I just don't know anything about them or if they are considered a legitimate alternative to Hurricane.
  4. Are Haifu rubbers good?

I have a friend who has a bunch of old but basically unused Haifu rubbers that he doesn't want so he just offered to give them to me. I think they are Whale and Shark or something. Are Haifu rubbers good? should they just be thought of as Haifu's version of Hurricane?
  5. What booster does ESN use on their rubbers?

Did your source really call the players "dirty Chinese". Apart from being incredibly rude and inappropriate, I still think that DHS could make a lot of money selling a chemically treated version of H3 directly to the public. If Yinhe knows this process, then surely DHS could figure out the...
  6. What booster does ESN use on their rubbers?

no but that's a joke. everybody knows that NEO is nothing close to the boosted level of ESN or Big Dipper. It's very dead, and we spent a whole separate thread where people definitively stated that NEO is basically unboosted
  7. What booster does ESN use on their rubbers?

They can offer both versions. H3 regular and H3 factory boosted.
  8. Hammond Z2

What about here? https://www.tabletennisstore.us/p-5433-nittaku-hammond-z2-table-tennis-rubber.aspx Or maybe Paddle Palace
  9. What booster does ESN use on their rubbers?

So why don't more companies use this chemical on their rubbers? Why not try this evaporating chemical on H3 or B2 or something?
  10. What booster does ESN use on their rubbers?

So, I understand that ESN uses some chemical treatment in the factory rather than a commercial booster. How about rubbers like Yinhe Big Dipper? It is labeled as factory boosted, but does that mean they use a similar chemical treatment or are they using a commercial booster?
  11. Nittaku Hammond Z2

Why are they giving spin and speed ratings for Z2 using the Donic scale? Did they actually test the rubber against Donic to get the right ratings?
  12. Hammond Z2

In my club, it seems everybody is buying this rubber. And yesterday some guys also were trying but unable to buy from TT11.
  13. Has Anyone Tried the New Victas V > 22 Rubber?

I just hit with it today from a friend's racket. It's very good, but largely similar to other ESN offerings out there. It's very bouncy, very fast, and the standard ESN level spin. I only hit with it for 5 minutes or so, but to me it felt largely similar to a MXP or even Victas 15 Extra.
  14. World Teams: Team Sticky Inner Limba vs Team ESN Outer Koto

I often change my blade based on who I expect to be playing. When I play a strong attacker, I will often use my outer carbon blade because I expect to be doing more BH blocking and counter attacking. When I feel like I will be doing more of the openers and loops, I will switch to the inner...
  15. Intermediate Player - Paddle Change after a Decade!

If its your first time, you should be warned that H3 may feel very slow to you. It doesn't respond anything like other elastic rubbers. It has a very slow and dead feeling. I really wouldn't recommend Hurricane unless you know what you're getting yourself into. To boost, you need to buy the...
  16. Intermediate Player - Paddle Change after a Decade!

I've used yellow 2.2mm before, and I thought it was excellent. Red has slightly more offensive potential, but Yellow is still fast and bouncy and just slightly more tame than red. Probably easier to use. I'm not sure about 1.8mm though, depends how you want to use your backhand. I like to loop...
  17. Intermediate Player - Paddle Change after a Decade!

You should know that within Chinese rubber, there are tacky rubbers like Hurricane. And there are grippy/bouncy rubbers like AK47. AK47 is 95% similar in function and performance compared to German rubbers that you mentioned. In fact, I recently tested AK47 Red and Rakza 7, and it was clear that...
  18. Intermediate Player - Paddle Change after a Decade!

I just sent you the link for the general product page of AK47. You can select Blue, Yellow, or Red on that page. I've used all 3 and am playing with AK47 Red at the moment. Red is the hardest and has the most power, but Blue definitely is not too soft. It played just fine for me as well. You...
  19. Need Rubber advice!

Well if you want something a little more than AK47, I guess your likely choice would be German rubbers. There are literally hundreds of German rubbers out there. But I guess Evolution MXP and Fastarc G1 are the popular choices.
  20. Intermediate Player - Paddle Change after a Decade!

I'm a big fan of this blade. Nice feeling and great control and low price. I haven't tried, but many people love this one too. And this rubber would suit you very well
