  1. Lebrun brothers join Tibhar

Just wait for them to upload photos on the WTT Flickr page https://www.flickr.com/photos/wttglobal/
  2. Victas V > 20 Double Extra Review

Victas rubbers have always been on the lower end of viability imo. I remember playing with V > 01 Stiff and after a couple of weeks it was totally gone. My coach who is ~2400 had been using V > 15 Extra, but switched to Dignics 80 because he found they just last much longer. Considering...
  3. Victas V > 20 Double Extra Review

Unfortunately, this was the same case for me. I played a tournament today as well as a lot of league on Friday and Saturday and unfortunately there's something just not right. There's simply no consistently at all. Soem shots are great, other shots are terrible. No margin for error otherwise...
  4. I just ordered from tabletennis11.com. What a pain!

You can also let yourself get charged in the original currency and let your card/bank determine the exchange rate (which is almost always lower than paypal)
  5. Pictures of players‘ equipment at the WTT Budapest

Well the ITTF has done everything it can to reduce the amount of spin in the game so this isn't surprising.
  6. High Rated OX Long Pip Players

Yang Xiaoxin (uses P1V in 0.5mm, so not exactly OX, but mostly plays like someone who does). Kyoka Idesawa (2019 All Japan Jr. Champion. Uses Short pips (VO 102) on FH and Curl P5V OX on BH). You can find a ton of videos of her if you look up her name 出澤杏佳
  7. Victas V > 20 Double Extra Review

I think it's really well suited to either. Don't be put off by the hardness. It does not feel anything close to 52.5 like you might suspect. I switched from Fastarc G-1 myself and can't imagine going back (unless I could get a hold of Fastarc G-1 50, but that's only sold in Korea).
  8. Victas V > 20 Double Extra Review

Well the sponge is quite hard so that alone would probably lead to a strong short game. Victas describes this as a high tension rubber, however it's far more linear than V > 15 is. If you have proper technique it's easy to generate a lot of power, but it isn't that obvious power you see with a...
  9. Andro rasanter c series

Not that this count's for a lot, but consider trying the new V > 20 double extra from Victas. Yuto Muramatsu was using Dignics 09c for most of this past year but just switched to V > 20 recently after extensive testing. Something to consider.
  10. Why are there restrictions for pips out rubbers?

Even if this person is bombastic and overzealous, the underlying argument is correct. The ITTF sucks, and absolutely does not care about its players (especially pips players). No purpose was served by these pip changes except to homogenize the sport.
  11. Modern alternative to Fastarc G1 help please?

Not 100% sure, but it's probably a DHS C703, which is the National team version of the DHS 08x. Ma Te uses the same blade now.
  12. Modern alternative to Fastarc G1 help please?

I actually misspoke. She uses VS > 402 Double Extra.
  13. Modern alternative to Fastarc G1 help please?

I just switched from Fastarc G-1 to V > 20 Double Extra. I really like it, however I don't personally chop so I can't evaluate it for that purpose. Yuto Muramatsu recently posed on twitter about using it...
  14. Blades from Chuan Chih Yuan

Thanks for another great video Dreamer. I'd love to see a video on the different generations of Avalox P500/700, as well as the history of Chinese wooden blades like Shunfeng, DHS PF4 (08/016/032).
  15. Victas V > 20 Double Extra Review

I haven't played with V > 15 extra in a while, but the overall appearance and smell of V > 20 is similar to that. It is made in Germany so I expect it to be an ESN like the rest.
  16. Victas V > 20 Double Extra Review

    This obviously isn't true for all the rubbers, but V > 15 (and the upcoming V > 22) correspond to the release years (i.e. V > 15 came out in 2015, V > 22 is coming out this fall, and is a successor to V > 15.
  17. Victas V > 20 Double Extra Review

So I finally got to hit with the rubber today and I was very pleased with first impressions. It's important to note that the stated hardness (52.5) doesn't come through when hitting the ball. This has been something I've read in many Japanese reviews of the rubber, but in practice, while the...
  18. Non-shrinking ESN rubbers

Yep. Also confused about what I'm reading here. Any high tension rubber will shrink if you glue it on and subsequently remove it. I always cut my rubber sheets slightly large to avoid this problem. G-1 will absolutely shrink if you peel it off (mine just did this).
  19. What is light weight Chinese's rubber.

    I 2nd Huricane 3 with the 37 degree sponge. It's a great rubber.
  20. Victas V > 20 Double Extra Review

Hi all, today I received my sheet of V > 20 double extra from Japan, and will be reviewing it soon. I've most recently been using Fastarc G-1, however I wanted something slightly harder and maybe a bit faster, and I was interested in this rubber's ability to excel in countering. The sheet I...
