  1. XIOM C55 Impressions and Comparison with H3N

Please update the post once you find out how durable it is ;))
  2. Prohibition Era. Is it going to the end now?

Boosters didn't kill anyone, it was the speed glue.
  3. Yasaka Extra Offensive for shakehand playstyle

Nahh, you're overthinking it mate. This blade is okay for shakehand as well as for penhold play. It's a bit hard (hard outer ply) but that doesn't mean it's useless for penhold.
  4. Beginner looking to build a solid racket

Idk if you already bought the setup or not, but honestly I think a normal glazer would do a better job... Getting into tacky (or at least semi tacky) rubbers at this stage isnt the best idea...
  5. Seeking Advice on Equipment Upgrade

The 729fx might in fact be a bit too soft, but still, you should be able to get good power with correct technique out of this rubber. I'd say, change the backhand to vega intro, and stay with the mercury on the forehand, as its much easier to get power on the FH than BH. But overall, the most...
  6. Seeking Advice on Equipment Upgrade

I know this is probably not what you want to hear, but if Mercury 2 is not spinny enough, this sounds like a technique issue. Although its not a high end rubber, you should be able to win points through spin without any trouble, especially with the blade you've got. The Vega Intro rubbers will...
  7. DHS H3N for a beginner

I mean, Im a chinese rubber fan myself, so my opinion might be biased, but if I were you, i'd find a different coach since there are some subtle differences in the way you play chinese rubbers vs european rubbers, mostly revolving around hitting the ball a bit more in comparison to the EU rubbers.
  8. Lessons I Learned in Shanghai about Boosting and Equipment in General

Did they say anything about rubbers like Friendship Battle II? What do they think of them in comparison to the H3?
  9. DHS hurricane neo 2 or neo 3?

I actually get quite a similar effect from using the battle 2 blue sponge 39.
  10. DHS hurricane neo 2 or neo 3?

For me it was the other way around. It was much easier to generate spin with the blue sponge version compared to the orange sponge.
  11. DHS hurricane neo 2 or neo 3?

If you want something a bit easier to play with, try at least the provincial blue sponge version, or the Friendship 729 Battle 2 provincial blue. The Battle 2 has a bit lower throw than the h3 (its probably meant to fill the role of the H2), but is much easier to play with - the sponge is much...
  12. DHS hurricane neo 2 or neo 3?

Revspin is not reliable at all... Do yourself a favour and stay with the rozena.
  13. DHS hurricane neo 2 or neo 3?

Why do you wanna change then? This is about as drastic of a change as it gets.
  14. DHS hurricane neo 2 or neo 3?

Yeah, that's true. Although the throw is still much lower than any modern European rubber, so it'll still be a big shift. What rubber have you been using previously?
  15. DHS hurricane neo 2 or neo 3?

Yeah it does because h2 has lower throw than h3, so it's better for lower arching powerful loops, while h3 has a higher throw, so it supports the spinny loops more.
  16. DHS hurricane neo 2 or neo 3?

Do you prefer high arcing loops focused more on spin, or the low arcing ones focused on power?
  17. DHS hurricane neo 2 or neo 3?

I mean, it depends on what you wanna achieve and what is your technical ability as well as style.
  18. DHS hurricane neo 2 or neo 3?

Nowadays its really hard to find the H2 in any better quality than the commercial (even the commercial is quite rare). Why would you want to use the H2? It has a much lower throw than the H3.
  19. Backhand rubber

I personally use the rakza 7 in 2.0, and it's a great rubber for me. Does everything I need it to do, albeit you need to give it a bit of input to get the ball going really fast, but I suppose it won't be a problem having played rakza Z before. Alternatively you could try the rakza 9, which is...
  20. Yinhe Y13 - Rubber Recommendation?

Honestly this sounds like a perfect beginner setup. If it's too slow for you, its most likely a technical issue.
