  1. Tips for the backhand loop technique

Woah guys, that's a lot of feedback for me to analyse and apply! I must admit, I didn't expect so many answers going into so much detail. I deeply appreciate the help! Regrettably, I've learned more from your posts in one evening than from my club in 6 years...
  2. Tips for the backhand loop technique

Any tips on how to fix the 1st one? And good videos? I've been trying to figure out how to use the body on the BH, but I just can't get it right. Btw, could the problems of my loop be caused by the fact that I start in the center of my body, and not a bit on the left side? (Like fang bo...
  3. Tips for the backhand loop technique

Hi guys, Could you point out flaws in my backhand loop technique? I know im doing something wrong, since it feels a bit unstable and weird, but I can't figure out what it is... Im the player who is on the right side of the table. Video

  5. Looking for a no gears/variables setup

This is about as linear as it gets tbh. The only thing you can change is the Super FX. You could buy the Yinhe Mercury II medium for even more linearity, but I think it defeats the purpose. You should learn how to control the racket you already have, since this is the moment where the influence...
  6. How did you know it is THE ONE? Blade and Set up.

I might be a bit late to the party, but for me it was instant. The moment I've picked up my current blade, I knew it was the one. I couldnt control it well (yet), however I felt like I could do anything touch related, and somehow knew just by feel how to control the ball percisely as I want to.
  7. Club level players using Counter-Loop vs block?

I think he means something like a mini counter loop - a cross between a drive and a counter loop, but closer to a drive - early timing, short stroke, but still spinning the ball a bit.
  8. Friendship battle 2 national vs provincial

I think you misunderstood a little. I switched from the B2 Prov to the B3, which made the rally play easier, but at the same time the kill shots aren't as spinny or as fast as with the B2 prov.
  9. Friendship battle 2 national vs provincial

Okayy, many thanks for your contribution!
  10. Friendship battle 2 national vs provincial

Any reviews I could read to get the idea of what to expect?
  11. Friendship battle 2 national vs provincial

Hmm... Havent thought about it, but boosting is mostly a no for me... Besides it's supposed to have the same top sheet as the normal B2, which is unfortunetly too hard for me on those low power shots... I've read some reviews suggesting that the Battle 2 Nat is easier to play with (more...
  12. Friendship battle 2 national vs provincial

Hello, Recently I've switched from the 729 Battle II prov to the 729 Battle III to make it easier to spin the ball on low power shots, but I feel like I've lost too much top end power. Will the Battle II national be a good compromise between the two? The hardness is 39deg in all cases. I like...
  13. Friendship 729 Battle 2 National vs Friendship 729 Battle 3

So its easier to spin a dead ball with this one than the Prov? Whats the difference in comparison to the Battle 3?
  14. If Ma Long retires: The golden age of table tennis is over!

I wonder if he could just go abroad and play for another nation, like quite a number of other Chinese players. Its obvious he won't because of his family, but to me it looks like the CNT is "encouraging" his retirement.
  15. Friendship 729 Battle 2 National vs Friendship 729 Battle 3

Thats interesting, I've always thought it was supposed to be the other way around. How come the B2 is easier to use than B3?

  17. Best Inverted Defenders Rubber for Backspin?

I've made a racket for classic defense, and the forehand rubber is 729 Super fx in 1.5. Feels great to chop with, and enough venom to throw in some loops when needed.

  19. Heming Hu, 2xOlympian (Rio and Tokyo) in Table Tennis here to help your game and personal struggles in the game

Not sure what I'd like to see, but the empty section titles in the free courses looked really interesting, like "dealing with slower balls", or "common mistakes on the backhand", "dealing with backspin". It'd be amazing to learn those, as there arent many guides for them on the internet...
  20. Heming Hu, 2xOlympian (Rio and Tokyo) in Table Tennis here to help your game and personal struggles in the game

Hi Heming! I've had really high hopes for your free course on Skool, but got quite disappointed when I noticed you didnt add any more videos to your free course. I understand that of couse, you want to earn some money on that, but I was under the impression that the free course was going to stay...
