  1. Nice funding grant for Table Tennis England

Let's hope they use it well!
  2. Dimitrij Ovtcharov using Hurricane rubber at World Cup 2016!

Interesting that Dima is using hurricane now, maybe he feels like he has to in order to compete with the Chinese players, will be even more interesting to see if he sticks with it now at the next couple of tournaments. Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  3. Looking for BH rubber recommendations

I agree with Floyd07 it sounds like the Stiga Genesis rubbers could be well suited they have great control for blocking and can generate a lot of spin for attacking topspins. Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
  4. Review of the STIGA Genesis Rubber

Fantastic reviews here by yogi bear and very accurate, would recommend anyone interested in Genesis to check out these reviews, lots of in depth details and information :)
  5. Genesis M

5 out of 5 rating for Genesis M I have been using the Genesis M 2.0 rubbers for the last few weeks and it's a fantastic rubber. The high amount of grip it has is key for the spin it can generate, I found in comparison to the Tenergy series it has even greater spin. However tenergy does still...
  6. Tenergy Advice - T05 to T05fx

Hi Pricey, I think you would be fine with using tenergy 05fx on your forehand. I've had experience of people switching from 05 to 05fx and really enjoying it. I think the softer sponge will help give you that extra feel and slightly slower speed. Good luck! :)

  8. Blade advice please!

Hi Stuart, the rasant rubbers will work fine on the dhs blade, I'm sure that will be a good combination, myself and Dan reviewed both Andro rubbers and didn't find them too heavy so that gives you the lightest bat possible. Enjoy your new bat whatever you go for! :)
  9. Layer of glue on blade that I can't get off?

Hi ijaymez1, you can also try heating it with a hairdryer and then rubbing off the glue with your hand or sandpaper etc, or like you said nail polish remover can help too :)
  10. Review of the STIGA Genesis Rubber

I would say to be honest it has even more because the topsheet is a little more grippy.
  11. Review of the STIGA Genesis Rubber

I've been using the Genesis M rubbers on both sides now for a couple of weeks on my Stiga hybrid wood blade. I have found them really good, as mentioned before by others they have a tremendous amount of spin and grip compared to even tenergy. The M version is certainly harder than the tenergy...
  12. TableTennisDaily sponsors team in British League

Hey vvk1, first off I have to say it was very very hard to play HZW earlier today! The hardest thing for me was his services, they had a lot of spin as you would expect but it was the speed of the serves which made it difficult to return well. His placement and control in the point is also...

  15. Wave Drive Ace 2

5 out of 5 rating for Wave Drive Ace 2 Overall these shoes are very good, they offer fantastic grip and are very durable. If you are use to very light shoes these may not be for you as they are slightly heavier than some table tennis shoes but this means they give you great support and will...
  16. Tabletennis in Shanghai (Meet, Travel, Play..)

Hi Christian, I have visited Shanghai twice in recent years both to spend a month or so there for training. I would definitely recommend going to the Jing'an area in Shanghai which is an upmarket area of shops but also has some smaller local sports clubs such as badminton and obviously a table...

  18. 3 star 40+

4 out of 5 rating for 3 star 40+ I have a tried a lot of plastic balls in competition and found the Stag to be the most reliable and best out of all the plastic balls. However there are still a lot of issues for example when you top edge the ball, the ball just shatters. If I was to choose a...
