  1. Blade and rubber suggestions for 6 year old starter

Vega intro on a Stiga Allround Classic (Master) is perfect. I think Offensive is to fast. Maybe thinner rubbers like 1.8 the first year.
  2. Advice for forehand rubber

I you haven't tried Donic Baracuda you should.
  3. Blade and rubber suggestions for 6 year old starter

Stiga Allround Classic + Stiga DNA Future on both sides. Thats what the kids start with in most Swedish clubs.
  4. Which of my blades for a 1300 level player?

Stiga Energy Wood v2 is my recommendation it's an amazing blade. If you buy this blade please ask for a 84-85gr some of the Stiga Energy v2 blades are above 90gr and then the blade becomes a different beast.
  5. Does it really matter what paddle to use?

Ok so a T05 hard on FH and T05 on BH...
  6. Does it really matter what paddle to use?

Fastarc G-1 is slower than DNA Platinum M BUT Fastarc G-1 rubber feels harder than 47'5 more like 50. Platinum M is also 47'5 but feels softer than Fastarc G-1. I have G-1 but I must say that Platinum M i superior and easier to use.
  7. Looking for rubbers with medium hardness and good control

Rakza X is a good choice aswell but 2.0, not max for a developing player. A little lower throwing compared to DNA Platinum.
  8. Looking for rubbers with medium hardness and good control

In Stiga sponsored clubs in Sweden they recommend Stiga DNA Platinum M (2,1mm) on both sides for developing players on a 5-ply All+ blade. Beginners use Stiga DNA Future insted. Rakza 7 is popular aswell but Stigas DNA Platinum is better in my opinion.
  9. Suggestion needed for Jr player

The worst thing you can do is give him a fast blade. Competing in tabel tennis i so much more than just a perfect loop. I watched a ten year old kid with a Cybershape and Tenergy O5 a few weeks a go at a competition. Amazing FH loops but he could not return serves and his short game was...

  11. Fastarc G-1 is great but...

Yes, but I liked G-1 better. MK sounds very interesting! How does is compare to G-1?
  12. Fastarc G-1 is great but...

I will buy a Hammond Z2. Could Tibhar Hybrid MK be another contender? C48 sounds great but I have doubt how long it will last.
  13. Fastarc G-1 is great but...

Hi! So I have played with Fastarc G1 fore a year or so. I realy like alot of the G-1 qualities like grip and low bounce. Its a great rubber for me in looping rallys BUT slower loops are difficult. The topsheet i rather thick to and it feels in many ways harder than 47'5 especially in slower...
  14. Rubber that comes closest to Rakza 7

Yes, Wookie or Tabletennis11. Wookie usualy has very good prices and quick delivery.
  15. Rubber that comes closest to Rakza 7

Fastarc G-1 is great on both FH & BH. 400kr at Wookiesports. C-1 is good for BH aswell.
  16. Assembling a first paddle

Stiga Allround Classic with Stiga DNA Future on both sides. Learn the basics (12 months), change rubbers after 6 months and buy DNA Future again. If you after a year have got the basics and learned to open up underspinn then it´s time for Rakza 7 on the same blade on both sides. Have fun!
  17. What does Rakza 7 play like?

But Rakza 7 has a much higher throw right?
  18. WTT anti-COVID Regulations still in force.

April 2022.. These rules was not enforced in Singapore this weekend.
  19. Nittaku C1 on a Stiga Cybershape Wood blade

Could be a fast blade?! Or that you need to get used to the rubber. G-1 is not a bouncy rubber like MX-P or Tenergy O5.
  20. Nittaku C1 on a Stiga Cybershape Wood blade

I have played C-1 on a few different blades mostly backhand. I think G-1 is better and easier to play with both forehand and backhand.
