Hi, I use several layers of edgetape to make the blade face about 1-2 mm larger. Then I glue the new rubber on and cut it with a scalpel. After removing the edgetape layers the rubber is 1-2mm bigger then the blade.

In Germany the Federation issued a paper stating that treating the rubbers with heat is a physical treatment and therefore not allowed.

Of course the glue is the plastic/matrix. After more than 10 years of building carbon and carbon/aramid blades, I might know what I am talking about.
