  1. Pro players and flying with boosters

Boosting takes days, so you'd probably wanna do it beforehand anyway, and just take sheets/completed rackets with you.
  2. Zyre 03 Rubber Review with Dimitrij Ovtcharov!

There's no guarantee that's a market-model covering either. There's no guarantee it's not heavily boosted either. Decent chance not even same rubber that NextLevel tried.
  3. Update 2026 May

What is the benefit to your method of hitting low and in front of the body?
  4. Update 2026 May

I don't consider the shot I took an example of to be close to the table, but it's good you have everything figured out and don't need help. EDIT: In case it helps you: Here is a close to table shot by Omar Assar in a real game. Against a different type of ball, but it's just to illustrate.
  5. Update 2026 May

Tall players with more experience can probably advise further; but I don't see how you'd be able to get good mechanics contacting that low relative to your torso. I may be wrong, though. Here is a forehand shot performed by Omar Assar onto a ball past the apex and in the falling phase. He is...
  6. Go for Fang Bo B2X or Hurricane Long 5

It means that it means whatever someone wants it to mean. Probably means it feels like a stiffer blade. Wipe-on polyurethane should be fine. Thin coat.
  7. Does Hl5 need to use the hurricane 3?

Rubbers with a higher coefficient of friction at high loads and a higher topsheet and sponge hysteresis will generate more spin at high loads. Hurricane 3 has a combination of those, at the expense of some other characteristics. The difference might be 5-10% or whatever (I suspect up to 20% for...
  8. Update 2026 May

You are quite tall, so you often take the ball relatively low, sometimes even below the chest. A lot of those shots are at upper abdomen and sometimes even navel height. I'm quite short, and I find I get the most shot quality if I strike the ball around lower chest to mid shoulder height. Some...
  9. What is most powerful Koto Top Ply Outer ALC blade from your experience

In my experience it's whatever the opponent is using. :)
  10. NO MORE HIDDEN TOSS. Give a try to the updated service rule.

I'm sure the ITTF could enforce the hidden serve rule in sanctioned international competitions if they got off their ass and stopped focusing on corruption and started focusing on enforcing the rules.
  11. What rubbers to choose for FZD ALC

Nothing to decide until you've used both in competition for at least a few months.
  12. Go for Fang Bo B2X or Hurricane Long 5

How long is a string of rope? They will probably use water-based spray sealer, it won't be as effective as something like an actual waterproof seal with polyurethane based products, and will need to be reapplied after a couple rubber removals, so I'd look into something more permanent...
  13. Go for Fang Bo B2X or Hurricane Long 5

If you consider 0.001% more rigid, then yeah, sure. That's about the measurable difference, usually doesn't even show up due to rounding. It increases the effective shear strength a decent bit due to various reasons but doesn't seem to do anything to the common things like bending, conical...
  14. Go for Fang Bo B2X or Hurricane Long 5

Entirely different blades for all intents and purposes AFAIK.
  15. Does Hl5 need to use the hurricane 3?

The most complicated part about F1 sims that actually works is the tire thermal modeling. Otherwise it's probably not what you think. It's also not needed to get to a representative result, they just do things in a complicated way because the modeling doubles as driver training and product...
  16. NO MORE HIDDEN TOSS. Give a try to the updated service rule.

This would invalidate quite a lot of legitimate forehand serves.
  17. Xiom blade handle coming off after 3 weeks

The factory applies the handle onto the blade by gluing it then pressing it. So...
  18. Does Hl5 need to use the hurricane 3?

One of the common mistakes beginning simulation engineers make is overcomplicating everything. You really don't need a 50 page white paper just to represent a table tennis stroke. You could probably do it all in one column if you make an empirical method. "Simulate the atoms", basically.
  19. Go for Fang Bo B2X or Hurricane Long 5

Those are probably the "early" and "late" Long V models. Fang Bo B2X is a red handle with a different design and at least the construction is probably different because their stiffness and vibration performance is very different, B2 and B2X being much stiffer in general.
  20. Go for Fang Bo B2X or Hurricane Long 5

These blades are not very much alike at all AFAIK.
