Yeah some Aliexpress Rubbers seem the most logical choice if possible to buy in those large quantities.
You could try and contact a brand like Gewo for some Thunderball² and ask for a quantity dicount perhaps and see if you can get a affordable price.
But it seems going chinese is the way to go...
Tried the G-Revision with Vega Japan for few minutes and it immediately felt great, didn't miss in the couple of balls I played and I went full swing in those, close and far from the table.
If you find it for around 100$ you can definetly go for it. For an allwood blade still quite fast but...
Some things I could gather:
I've read bad things in terms of durability of the MK here, Aurus Prime should be average, depending on usage 2-6 months easy
MK should play more linear and therefore feels more controlled for most, while Aurus Prime is fast with more catapult.
I do must say that I...
I guess we are talking both over each others heads.
This is what I mean with the speed difference and why it can be perceived different. Blue appears to be faster 95% of the time, while red is factually the faster one. Most will say blue is the faster, due to multiple factors. Either they...
If he were to say one is faster, what does this even mean to you? If you haven't tried even one yet, you are in an almost endless comparison until you know. Or do you just want to choose the one that sound better in your mind?
Usually the differences are pretty negligible if you are able to...
Sometimes its hard to accept that the problem lies in oneself. It is just easier to blame equipment.
But I have to agree.
(Only for total beginners i'd say to not go for extremes in equipent)
All wood is defintely the call, but why worry about hardness/stiffnes so it pairs well with hard rubbers if your backhand is a soft rubber, just as a side note.
Tried Primorac with Rozena once and hated the vibration. (Im used to carbon)
Korbel or Sweden extra are quite nice and balanced in...
And you are right with that, hard rubbers do have their advantage in todays game. :D
I just support those softer type Rubbers, since I think they tend to die out and many amateurs would probably like or prefer them.
Because the majority of players dont care what the "meta" is and take whats comfortable/known. Also there are a dosen of kids, elderly or beginners to intermediate players who struggle to hit consisten shots with Rubbers as hard or harder than 47°.
So i think this is a good alternative in...
In my search to get more information about the Nexy Etika Pro, I stumbled on tak9 and saw that "Spira" is out, Nexys newest Rubber.
So far on what I've gathered it has roughly half the price of Etika, wich costs 59Euros Msrp here. It has a tacky topsheet with a 47.5° Yellow and porous sponge and...
Thank you all for the imput!
I prefer Medium to Hard rubbers with more of a Jap feeling, but I would like to try some different things aswell.
Aslong as the spin and speed is in a good ratio to another and not dead feeling it should be fine.
Jupiter 3 and Big Dipper sound nice.
Maybe Apollo 5...
If you like K3 other than the hardness there is a softer K3 FX. Or easier to play Hybrid MK.
Without much information about how you play and what you like/don't like there are countless choices.
Tenergy, Xiom Vega/Omega, Nittaku Fastarc G1, ...
So I was thinking of trying a few Yinhe rubbers in the coming offseason along with some other cheap-ish chinese rubbers (Battle3 for example) and noticed that I got quite lost in the way they name their rubbers. Moon, Earth, Jupiter, Mercury, Apollo, Big Dipper and then with many different...
Should be very good, longer than ESN for sure. Atleast the others from Daiki Factory do. The edges and sponge might be a bit brittle but if you use them with care they should outlast many Rubbers.
My first sheets of Nexy Etika perform still pretty well after well over a year as an example.
