  1. Side tape REALLY change the feeling or not? What do you think?

I didn't really get into the physics of head heavy hollowed out or solid lower balance. Research my past posts on this to learn how I feel. (you would see I like heavy weight low balance solid)
  2. Side tape REALLY change the feeling or not? What do you think?

Yes, minor and weight distribution isn't too terrible in net terms to my feel. I never really felt it affected my play at all nor could I feel it different immediately... but if you were to test out a dozen blades the same hour, you would be hitting the edge of bat with ball a LOT as the way...
  3. DTTB Announces Paris 2024 Lineups

I confirm NL for years has played at a level that less than 10% of players reach. Anybody with any half-azz understanding of TT can look at how/what NL writes and know that NL is not making it up. When NL says such and such member is blowing smoke, there is a very good chance that is a fact...

NL, I have been itching to send you the bat in my sig (with soft BH rubber) along with a couple leftover Nexy "Skull" shirts and a couple Thomas Sowell books for your kids... you might not hate the soft on BH once you operate this blade in action. it really isn't slow at all.
  5. Playing against long side spin serves

You are using the Donic Persson Power Play. Blade is total rubbish. Internet TT forum AI sez get a W968 and Diginiski 09C on your BH and it will be unfair.
  6. What do you call this BH stroke in English?

BH Hit... could also be called a BH Drive... when done against an incoming topspin attack it can be called a BH counter... a BH Counter Hit... a BH Counter Drive... If stroke is short enough and there is enough firming at impact, then it can also a called a BH Punch.
  7. Samson Dubina sexual assault case

This is CORRECT (and I also did the safe sport certs (to coach at Shashin's club a spell). It is NEVER good policy as a coach to be alone with a minor anywhere. If S.D. was ever alone with a minor as a TT coach, he will not be a TT coach under Safe Sport. On the other side, if one is not ever...
  8. Rubber for Chopper's Forehand

Can chop damn well with Aurus Soft and I do goof off and chop when I can.
  9. Modern "classic" rubbers

I believe in hiz heart, the OP is looking for a modern rubber that is not overly fast. not bouncy, has gears, and can do many things well, but not 100. That description is exactly Tibhar Aurus.
  10. Need advise for my backhand rubber (Currently Rakza Z)

As for how this very question (more suitable BH rubber for me) applied to me at a 2000+ tourney level is a former national player had piles and piles of possible rubbers... ... I tried them one by one for a few hundred shots vs several different kinds of balls I get in a rally. ... my friend...
  11. Need advise for my backhand rubber (Currently Rakza Z)

I have not seen a vid of you playing a match... and just from your description of yourself, your game, and HOW you described it, I am over 95% certain that this equipment or that equipment is not going to make a material difference in your match outcomes right away or even a few years later...
  12. Rubber for Chopper's Forehand

Softer sponge, more supple topsheet, less bouncy, easy to get ball into topsheet and sponge.
  13. Rubber for Chopper's Forehand

Get a softer older tech rubber... Aurus soft is an outstanding one. I chop like gangbusters with it. I like to goof off and play defense.
  14. Feedback on my loops against backspin

YES. This is important for taller players to enable them to get low or lower.
  15. Feedback on my loops against backspin

YES. This is what I emphasize with new and adult players. DOWN and UP (and forward)... but generating the kinetic energy going down and up (with a squat and un-bow) so one can transfer it to the ball. This is often in direct conflict to those who highlight the use of excessive waist and...
  16. Feedback on my loops against backspin

OP, You are striking the ball way too far in front of your effective strike zone. You do not get much leverage or spin this way or it is 10x more difficult/inconsistent to do so. You are not coming up with legs or un-bowing before/with swing to generate kinetic energy to transfer to the ball...

  20. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

At the table vs fast powerful incoming balls, you are not exactly off the bounce (like as in 2 inches above bounce closed bat soft hand, etc)... one should have bat around net height and take ball on the rise. That still gives one the possible angles and still have good control over the ball...
