BTY in France can be purchased via the national reseller, dauphin (office / store in Valence, 400+ miles from Paris), or Friendship (the store, in Paris, link as above).
No discounts are available on BTY rubbers and most BTY baldes, so expect to pay 56.90€ per sheet of Tenergy.
A TT player in...
Also bear in mind he could have given these to Dima for him to give away to his friends...
Two blades with signatures for the recently crowned world champion, that would be a very nice present for a good TT friend I find. No need to start thinking whether anyone will put a Donic handle on them...
Looks like a Limba outer. I'm curious about the first reviews...
Nexy, if you need a reviewer in the UK, do not hesitate to contact me as this really looks like a blade I could use ;)
Recently (for about 6 weeks now I'd say) I've managed to fit 2 training sessions a week. During the competition season, I'm lucky if I can train once a week, as I compete and coach at our local club (total of 3 nights a week)
New Viscarias can be as good as old ones, and most of these blades differ slightly (For example the Maze is not a Viscaria equivalent).
BTY had a good blade, discontinued it for commercial reasons (they tried to reaplce it but failed), and seems to have realised that with the many Pro players...
You can punch and block with the Pro, but I expect the Europe (which is said to be a bit bouncier, and less spinny, although I have not tried it first hand) should be a better rubber for these two shots.
I've won too. So rare...
Waiting to receive them and play. Hopefully they're round, and solid.
Two weeks ago I played with a brand new BTY plastic ball, after 5 minutes I caught the top edge of my bat on a topspin => cracked.
Yes, I have a sheet of MX-P which will go on my FH, and a Vega Pro for my backhand (both already is stock). This setup is likely to be followed by MX-S (FH) and FX-P (BH).
For what it's worth, I've decided to settle with the Maze for now. Enough power, lots of control, great feel and dwell...
zjkforever, do you have the schedule for the whole season? I'll be in Shandong soem tiome this summer, so would like to know when the Luneng team plays at home... (weiqiao is less convenient)
I'm really curious to see how Ouaiche is going to fare in the CTTSL.
Against the Chinese, who tend to be very agressive attackers, will he be able to play a bit further from the table as he normally likes? or will we see a change and a more positive match play?
Thanks.
I think most of us do understand that your opinion of thse rubbers is from the point of view of a "normal" player. Pros like you have slightly different requirements and have the touch, technique and fitness to benefit from more "extreme" rubbers (e.g. harder / faster etc.)
For us...
Thanks Paul for the review.
When you published your first review here I asked if you were going to test this rubber, as I had hopes it would be a good one for myself and many others.
I'm currently using an old sheet of Omega IV Pro on my BH, and will try Vega Pro and MX-P next. Thanks to your...
O_o
His consistency is amazing. Having said that, to be beating top 50 players when 11 years old, you need to consider how good Harimoto was at an earlier age...
Thanks for the article. I'm sorry to say I'm currently reading it and enjoying it.
I've also posted a photo of Fatt's hollow handle on the French forum. I always suspected BTY blades have hollow handles, but am not wealthy (or upset) enough to split any of mine ;)
I find the rubber matches an...
Between rallies mean basically a coach can call his player and tell him something very quickly so the opponent won't hear.
As long as it's within the imparted time (can't remember how much we have between points), that would be OK. So we're talking potentially a large amount of small timeouts...
