  1. Behind the WTTC 2015 in Suzhou, China

Thanks. The problem with livescoring is not the few seconds delay in getting points. It's that sometimes the live scoring will show a player is 2-0 up, then no changes until the final score is shown, 3-4 9-11. That's not live anymore. (and yes, I check the scores at work, but don't tell anyone!)
  2. Behind the WTTC 2015 in Suzhou, China

Hello T!Christian I've posted on the other WTTC topic to express how I (and many others) feel regarding the comms / videos / livescore of the WTTC. I hope you understand this is nothing personal. I'm sure there are many imperatives which explain some of these issues, and if you could tell us...
  3. World Table Tennis Championships 2015

Great expereince I'm sure. You're lucky. From my perspective, only being able to follow on the internet, the ITTF webite is horrible. Thsi webpage is not even up to date with the result of yesterday's matches, let alone todays...
  4. World Table Tennis Championships 2015

Ashanta was injured and didn't play. The score should read W/O
  5. FS: New Tenergy 64 and Tenergy 80

Tenergy 80 for sale at £43. Brand new, unopened.
  6. New promotion video from Butterfly about Arylate Carbon

Viscaria does not have Balsa inner, and all innerforce have Limba outer (on top of having the composite nearer the core), while other TBS / Viscaria / TB ALC / ZLC have Koto outer. And there are many discussions on the TT forums regarding differences between blades of identical composition...
  7. Is Tabletennis11.com trustworthy?

Exactly. A seller / shop that delivers what they are supposed to is normal expectation. How they deal with issues makes the difference. And as I stated earlier, I've had one small problem which they addressed in the best way possible for me. And that, I respect immensely. Sh*t happens. It's how...
  8. Stiga Intensity NCT V.S. Stiga Clipper CR WRB V.S. Stiga Infinity VPS V

Intensity is harder than Clipper. Infinity can have problems with wood layers. For these reasons I'd go with the Clipper.
  9. Paul Drinkhall TIBHAR Reviews

Paul, this is very interesting. I was considering to move away from Tenergy, as I think for the average player in the British League the cost / benefits ratio is going to turn for the worse with the new poly ball. As I am looking for something similar but with a bit more tack, I was wondering...
  10. Paul Drinkhall TIBHAR Reviews

That's great news for us to have a Pro participating in this forum, and particularly doing testing! EJs will be chuffed!
  11. Is Tabletennis11.com trustworthy?

They can't ship BTY products (blade / rubbers for sure, but also bags last time I asked) due to BTY rules, nothing to do with them. Blame BTY if you want to blame anyone. BTY have a policy of geographical restrictions, so they will sell the rights / allow one shop to supply one given area...
  12. Is Tabletennis11.com trustworthy?

TT11 are a great TT shop. Wouldn't hesitate a second to order again from them. They have good prices, and deliver. That, every shop should do. Their Customer service is also very good. When I had a problem with some DHS glue, their reaction was fantastic (was offered refund or replacement)...
  13. What glue do you use to glue new rubbers to your bat?

I guess this is because... "The presence of VOCs was noted even when water-based glues were used." http://tabletennisengland.co.uk/our-sport/our-sport-subpages/rules-regulations/racket-testing-control/ Unsure whether that means they found VOC in glues, or that's the VOC from the rubbers (or...
  14. What glue do you use to glue new rubbers to your bat?

Two things here: 1) the use of speed glue to glue your rubbers on your bat is banned by the ITTF, even if you let it rest (3.02.04: Racket coverings can only be attached to the racket blade with adhesives that do not contain harmful volatile solvents). Although I personally don't care (see...
  15. Palio ESN rubbers??

That's right Andy. Don't forget to give us us a review ;)
  16. FS: New Tenergy 64 and Tenergy 80

  17. Michael Maze

5 out of 5 rating for Michael Maze Good blade for experienced players. Limba - ALC - Limba - Ayous - Limba - ALC - Limba. OFF blade (not OFF- nor OFF+), good feel for the ball, with sufficient power to put any ball away. Blade weight can vary from just over 80g to 100g or so. Shame BTY seems...
  18. Tenergy 80

5 out of 5 rating for Tenergy 80 Softer than T05, harder than T64, it does everything in between. Blocks better than T05, slightly less sensitive to spin, with throw just a bit lower (hardly noticeable). Feels softer and is a bit bouncier than T05. A good backhand rubber. Excellent for...
  19. Tenergy 05

5 out of 5 rating for Tenergy 05 Nothing that has not been said about this rubber. Durability used to be better than other rubbers, but they have imporoved so no more advantage here. Price however is far too high. Rubber can be too hard on a hard blade in my opinion, but since it's very linear...
