  1. Why does ML use soft 37d rubber on bh?

The hardness doesnt give much information about the feel and possibilities of its rubber. I played with both rubbers and D09c doesnt feel that hard at all. Even boosted H3 37 felt harder and less bouncy. And then there is the usage. Playing chop blocks, pushes and full swing attacks like WCQ...

It looks exactly as all of my sheets. Still weird your pimples show up that well. Then i hope that was a onetimer for you that this sheet bubbled up. Im still kicking with both sides LAC and improving fast. Especially bh is amazing. As long as i dont try to flick in slowmo the rubber grabs...

Yeah i thought that too. It is the same with your other sheet. Do you stretch the rubber while glueing? Besides that, i have no clue how you manage to make the rubber look like that^^

That somewhat looks boosted. Pimple structure is more visible and the edges looked a bit curled. At least mine doesnt look that way. Im with my 3rd and 4. Sheet (including bh) and never experienced a bubble like this. Though I did manage to losen the toosheet from the sponge on some edges...

39 and 40 LAC feels softer which it probably is because it is around 49 hardness. And if remember correctly, they use ESN scale. I think its topsheet is softer too. At least it feels that way

"Much better performance" is highly subjective. And i wouldnt agree to "much better" either. Played B2 OS prov for quite some time, but i find LAC simply better by a slight margin in several aspects. But especially for bh it is way better to handle, therefore i made exactly that switch.
  7. Yinhe Jupiter 3 Amazing Rubber

LAC is faster in every lower impact shots up until full blown loops. Depending on how well your technique is and how hard you can hit, H3 will probably top out LAC in the harder shots, but not by much either way. Arc is around the same, but the throw angle i higher from LAC. Shortplay is...
  8. Yinhe Jupiter 3 Amazing Rubber

This is exactly my biggest issue with several rubbers in that pricecategory. They can be good, or at least somewhat good, but all of a sudden you have a batch that is completely different. I had 3 J3s and one of them was completely whack. But at least all of them were sticky af. Same with BD...

Ehm weird, because ive never seen Arthur Pro. Do you have a link or any information about that one?
  10. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Ok that would probably mean that the TIII 81 is probably the Loki Pro rubber with the 010 number. Because that is the only rubber that is missing from the ITTF-List.

No i would simply not. Partially because i despise Butterfly way too much for its distribution decisions and their disgusting prices. And also because i dont see the point for paying more for close to no improvement. Even if there is (and it most certainly should^^) it is not noticably at my...

I actually had the chance to hit with the D09c at the end of last week and swapped rackets with my trainingpartner. So yeah LAC has some characteristics that are comparable to D09c but i wouldnt say they are that similar. - D09c has a higher throw than LAC - Arc is nearly the same, at least...
  13. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

It doesnt actually play the same. The harder untypical bounce off, of a chinese rubber, can be triggered way easier with LAC. So it actually is surprisingly easier to use to get a serious force behind your shots (for us amateurs), than with H3. It somewhat is similar in some way because...
  14. Yinhe Jupiter 3 Amazing Rubber

Any chance you can record yourself playing with it? Dont want any comparison, i am just curious what you describe as a great arc and how you manage to generate such arc. I used the exact same blade for my testing and it was a great rubber for the price tag, but still quite far away from what...

Ehm, to be fair, he didnt say anything that ridiculious. He explicitly talked about his level of play and a bit above is usual level.
  16. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

That alone is a huge difference to LAC for example. No need to boost that one. And i actually cant agree, that the GTX feels around the same as LAC. It is boosted kind of similar to J3 but not at all similar to LAC. J3 and GTX both have a quite flat arc and a low to medium throw angle. LAC is...
  17. Soft rubbers suggestions - cheaper alternatives to Vega Europe

Yinhe Moon Blue 12 Slow enough to give a huge load of feeling and fast enough if the technique gets on point.
  18. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I could finally capture a bit of training. The material is okish, regarding the latest temperature we have in our training hall currently. But we do had some issues concentrating, so i had a loooot to cut out^^ Either way i guess you can get a decent picture of how the LAC plays on both sides...
  19. Equipment you want Dan and Tom to review?

Sadly none. Way too biased and therefore not really usefull, except for some comparisons. Overall not really experienced enough in terms of equipment as you can see from their chart they use for several rubbers. Very usefull if you want to go with butterfly equipment as an intermediate player...

Lac is 49. So on paper they should feel around the same. Id guess there are 2 differences though. J3 has a tuned and dense sponge while Lac has a more porous sponge. In my perception the topsheet feels different too. While j3 feels overall hard, the topsheet of the lac feels somewhat softer.
