  1. FH Loop Free Arm Movement - Elbow back or Hand form triangle

Look for videos on Primorac vs Kreanga on YouTube. Example ETTC 2002 Semi Final: https://youtu.be/-LfJEj7i-K0 It’s a nice case study as they both used similar equipment during this period. Tamca 5000+Hinoki (nominally Primorac Carbon) + speed glued Bryce both sides. The neutral swing of...
  2. Sealing a blade with the intent to make it harder

Would another idea be use thinner sponge? I used to use Max but now go down to 1.9 or 2.0 depending on the brand. I have noticed the feeling become slightly harder, though not too much slower. I read somewhere on this forum that with thinner sponge the topsheet has less to flex against.
  3. FH Loop Free Arm Movement - Elbow back or Hand form triangle

Watch any training videos or matches they have against choppers.
  4. FH Loop Free Arm Movement - Elbow back or Hand form triangle

Yes I have noticed some Asian women now performing the over rotation stroke - SYS, WMY, DHK and CIC. These women are playing slightly further from the table and hence it makes sense they need this extra time to perform this stroke in counterloop phase. For Aruna, if he doesn’t hold his left arm...
  5. FH Loop Free Arm Movement - Elbow back or Hand form triangle

I’ve been noticing the free arm movement on forehand loop between the mens and womens game. In the mens game, there seems more of the current top players with the technique of pushing back their free elbow directly behind or near their non playing hip. Especially Hugo. Can also can be seen in...
  6. Frictionless Anti players

Oh nevermind, saw in the YouTube comment section Bluestorm Z2 Max 👍
  7. Frictionless Anti players

Are my eyes playing tricks on me? Is that a blue inverted? Donic Blue-sth or V>15 Extra?
  8. Durable rubbers

I find Xiom Vega Pro very durable on par with Rakza 7. A step down from MX-P for sure in terms of spin and speed when brand new, though I think it is an easy transition due to the sponge + topsheet combination being similar overall (47.5 deg sponge + thicker stiffer topsheet). Vega Pro feels...
  9. Crispest Blade you have used

Wanting to delve into the knowledge of forum members here 😀 From what I know, harder outer wood with a supporting layer of composite for stiffness?
  10. Why are there restrictions for pips out rubbers?

I hear pro attackers need to change every week? During competition every 2-3 days.
  11. Why are there restrictions for pips out rubbers?

In gaming, when a strategy becomes over powered (known as template or meta) the game developers would try to balance this out in the next updates. It’s bad for business when everyone employs the same strategy as the game no longer becomes interesting (other than to the early adopters of the...
  12. FS/FT: Dr Neubauer Hercules Kiso Hinoki - SYD, AU

Soft like butter! Price updated. Offers will be considered 😀
  13. Least Spin Sensitive Inverted Rubber 45-55 deg

I have been able to test D05 and D80 side by side, 2.1 for both. D80, although billed as the allrounder of the series is both faster and way more spin sensitive vs D05, not a good combination for me. At first I thought it could be due to having consecutive bad nights or technique related but as...
  14. FS/FT: Dr Neubauer Hercules Kiso Hinoki - SYD, AU

Dr Neubauer Hercules ST 79g - mint condition. Bought in 2019, used for 1 month and then been placed in storage and rarely used ever since. Only defect on blade face is tiny unnoticeable dent at 2 o’clock - pictures via: https://ooakforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=39127 For Kiso Hinoki...
  15. Tibhar MX-D

Forgot to add spin levels are clearly not as high as T05. Should be thought more of as a power rubber. Much closer to MX-P than MX-S. Optimal objective is to hit through past your opponent rather than causing errors via spin. There is definitely enough spin to safely place power loops to where...
  16. Just tried ZJK ZLC, why don't people like ZLC?

Do what makes you happy! There will always be a majority and a minority. If ZJK followed the trend as a junior (at the time Tamca 5000 or all wood) we would not be seeing Viscaria or Super Viscaria in production. Maybe you can prove the ZJK ZLC doubters wrong by sharing more of your thoughts 😀
  17. Just tried ZJK ZLC, why don't people like ZLC?

Numb-er feeling vs ALC so not as responsive and felt this hides away the distinctive Koto springiness speed property. Forehand is stable but backhand not as good vs the cheaper ZJK ALC (and the Vis that ZJK actually used). Rightly or wrongly it has a reputation of not being well suited to H3...
  18. Frictionless Anti players

Andrea - don’t ditch your anti, it’s refreshing to see more diversity within the game. Even now, Euro penholders are getting attention and wave of support to do well. Look at the views and comments under each Felix Lebrun or Dang Qiu video. Also, I feel endless amount of people would try to...
  19. Tibhar MX-D

I think it’s generally accepted anything coming out of ESN is boosted in order to compete with Butterfly. I think there’s great synergy between topsheet and sponge so I feel either I’m liking it more as it’s aging (1 month now) or maybe due to familiarity I’m getting more performance out of it...
  20. Tibhar MX-D

Attacking shots yes, it does have very close similarities for me to T05 Hard version. I could not tell any large differences between these 2 on similar outer ALC blade on FH to FH and BH to BH drive hitup, though my friends T05H would be at least a couple of months old, while my MX-D was at...
