you can’t get those super tacky Chinese rubbers anymore. I bought a blue sponge globe 999 in 2023 and it was only half tacky. Just get the old orange package of TG3 they are tacky. They have good level of stock. Finding old H3 is much much harder

FH: commercial Neo H3 39 or 40 degree BH: TG3-60 medium (37 degree) These are well tested setup you can't go wrong if you like tacky rubbers.

Both the topsheet and sponge engage in creating spin. When you use 1.8mm sponge, you would expect less spin for sure.
