I’ve been playing with Glazer on my BH wing for about a month now.
Spin levels are good / high, especially when serving, I found that it was easier to put high spin on serves, compared to G09C,
Glazer is a pretty stable rubber, fairly easy to control. Blocking is solid, and I do a lot of...
It starts with your serve and receive, find your serve / placement that has a more predictable receive. Then you can work on 3rd ball attack In that scenario.
How and where you attack, position / placement etc, this could vary on opponent to opponent. For example ’predictable’ receive may be...
In close matches, (at local league level especially) when 2-2 and 9-9 in the fifth onwards, maybe more so at 10-10 you watch BOTH players do what Andy mentioned, push push push, make no mistakes!!! Revert to basic pushing, something they feel safe and consistent at, let the other make the...
I’m not going to say 1 grip is better than another. It depends on the individual.
In Europe and probably the States shake hand grip is generally the norm, and what is usually taught by coaches, within the shake hand grip there are also variations, neutral, Bh and Fh positions, some players move...
No, it’s faster and softer!!!:ROFLMAO:
Our evaluations differ!!! This sums up the almost pointless PERSONAL opinions that we like to give.
Having said that, some info is better than none at all. !!!!!
Rakza Z should be faster than the H8-80 37 degree, especially when mounted on your existing blade!!
but the H8-80 is still fast enough.
regarding feel, Rakza Z will feel softer than the H8-80, it’s top sheet is softer, but everyone’s different when it comes to feel !!
Rakza Z seems to have a...
To get an idea of what a tacky rubber is like for pushing on BH just use your current set up and flip the Provincial H3Neo to your BH. You say the H3N on FH is good for short game so just flip it over for some BH practice pushing drills.
Try the H3N for BH topspin as well !!!
If you are worried...
HL5, I found it to be very hard to judge when looping. You need good technique and touch, yes touch or ability to judge how much extra speed or catapult the blade will give you!! For me It’s not very predictable, other than more often than not my loops went long!!!
Likely that my level is not...
G09C is excellent value for money, especially when talking about Butterfly rubbers.
Priced at about £44 & €44 (uk price and Butterfly eu store price, may be more expensive in other countries?) compared to Tenergy Series which is £59/€59 & Dignics Series £79/€79.
So it sits above Rozena (which...
So, I’ve played twice with G09C (FH) and Glazer (BH)
Yesterday I played a league match, won 2 and lost 1, so it was straight in at the deep end with a new set up!!! I haven’t been playing particularly well since Xmas, and was pleased to pick up the 2 wins!!
Tonight we had a 2 hour match play...
I play in 3 leagues for 3 different teams.
4th place in 2 of the leagues.
Currently 5th in the other league, but team in 6th have games in hand and likely to finish above us.
Agree 100% about handles!!
Tried Donic Dotec blades, liked the wings.
Asked Sergio to make a couple of blades based on that Tamca 5000 blade handle with the Dotec wings added, longer handle as well.
(The Dotec blades have a sculpted handle as well as the different wings. It’s really the...
You guys should get Sergio (SDC) to make a bespoke clone or 2 for you.
custom handle to your requirements, weight to your requirements, size, balance etc etc
If you get some spare cash, I’d go for it!!
Now the season has all but finished, 1 match to play tomorrow, the EJ ing is kicking in!!! R48 and Barracuda on match blade, and tonight Glazer and Glazer 09C on a spare!!!
Sheets arrived today.
G09C - 71 grams uncut, 48 grams cut
Glazer - 69 grams uncut, 46 grams cut
racket total weight 186 grams.
G09C slightly tacky, barely lifts a ball, similar to D09C
Glazer completely non tacky.
Did a quick bounce test, a protective film is on the sheet of G09C, so I did the...
