MX-P is better than it except for durability. It also has an unclear grip feeling sometimes. It requires you to always make attacking strokes or it feels mushy.
V>15 and MX-P are on par. G1 is slower than both. It has the feel of G1 with the speed of MX-P. The catapult only kicks in with power strokes, kinda like G1.
Topsheet gets eaten alive, sponge is pretty nice. Durability is on par with normal ESN rubbers. (Note I train 9~12 hours a week)...
Could someone compare this KTS 570, presumably an updated version to T560, to HL5 and/or W968.
Limba-Ayous?-Aramid Carbon-Ayous
It's 5.7mm thick.
Feels slow on low impact, great catapult when using power.
Update: got the KTS 570, definitely an HL5 composition. Compared to Viscaria it is right up there and even faster. I put H3 and V>15 (comparable to a 50-degree rubber in weight) and the thing is a beast. Became head heavy at only 182 grams. The handle and wing has a difference, the wing length...
Right now I'm researching about Tmount as here in Thailand they have stock at super cheap prices. Trying to compare them to the Stiga has been hard. They are ~50 USD and ~71 USD respectively which is gonna save my wallet from getting butterfly-level pricing. I can definitely see that the two...
That was very informative, a 2 cm difference is a lot. The viscaria makes my middle finger free moving but the stiga is more secure. I never noticed the oval shape until now. But my problem is more on the angle of the wing. A steep change to vertical makes my finger slip, a more relaxed like...
How do I search for what blades have a DHS shape? I'm looking for something like viscaria or an innerforce alc type composition. Basically alc or similar. I know stiga has inspira but it's pretty expensive.
I've played with Viscaria for years, but as I improved and incorporated my backhand into my game as an offensive option. The wings on the viscaria gives me a looser grip which makes my BH-FH transitions sloppy. With the stiga allround, there's more safety between the switches as the wing goes...
I'm quite not sure, I've used the V>15 on my viscaria and stiga allround. It feels like a rocket when any spin is involved on both. I may have trouble on starting spin (attacking no spin, float balls) with the stiga. I was thinking the alc would mitigate that but even when it was new I would...
Jesus christ, the person who gave the gift is crazy. It's like asking for shoes for walking but ending up being given a ticket on a one way rocket to mars.
Do you think it's worth me trying it out on backhand? It's a bit cheaper than V>15 here, 44 usd vs 50 usd. I play all kinds of shots on backhand but mostly attacking shots, I like how I can control the pace with the v>15 and v>20 should do the same.
I'm the one in the green shirt, (We just had a 30-minute run to cap off our training session of the day and a bunch of ab crunches). Not exactly representative of my overall technique (especially the forehand) but it'll work (aka after leg day feeling).
I also recently switched to T05 and am...
On FH it's so crisp. It's like you're biting into crispy chicken. It's definitely a controlled rubber on FH, great alternative. BH requires less finesse and more power. T05 is more finesse and less power. (First time hitting with T05 and I was hitting all passive shots long, all active shots...
Yeah, you really have to engage the sponge to create spin. Good for forehand but backhand had my fair share of slippage. The v> rubbers tend to have that characteristic.
I want to double down on it's durability. It dies so fast. I only used it for 1 month, 3-4 times a week 3 hours per session and it became extremely soft. I loved it when it was new but it's playing characteristics changed so fast. I'm switching to T05 for now.
