I want the limba on the fh for nice soft dwelly fh! Koto on bh for mid pip hitting. I have had two very beautiful blades made by Afro Bro from the forum. But they did not quite work out, a little too fast in the end. I feel like trying to get another custom blade made!!

They make an all wood version too. Avalox P700 is a bit old school and rubbish no for short pips and abs balls. My Xiom Solo is excellent I am just stuggling a bit with the fh side with the koto being a bit bouncy!! I have just varnished the hell out of my bh side on my tibhar force pro blue...

That blade would be too thin for mid pips on bh, but they have some interesting stuff on there!!

This blade is also on Prince of TT £45. Thing is I would have the limba on fh and koto on bh. ;)

Does anyone know if anyone makes a combination blade, preferably 7 ply with a limba outer and a koto outer? or Koto one side and Ash or anything else more loopy other side. I have decided I need a nearly stiff 7 ply with limba etc for fh and koto for bh pips! There must be something out there...

whilst 05 is faster on attacking strokes, i assume it is easier to block and counter with as its harder presumably it is easier to control incoming power loops as it is less bouncy is this a correct assumption

I think you are correct BRS. What I need to decide though is what I want. Do I want the best bh pip hitting blade and make compromises on my fh which I think might be the best thing to do. But my fh cost me matches on Saturday, but maybe on a more balanced blade my bh would not have got me...

It is blade dependant too. So I have discovered that part of my problem with my bad pimple hitting was my blade choice. Tibhar Force Pro is really not that good for mid pimple hitting. Xiom Solo is on a different planet of awesomeness for pip hitting, but something about it is playing havoc...
