Timber 7 might be interesting if its not too flexy? TSP Swat was very flexy for a 7 ply felt like a 5 ply to me. I could not play with a blue blade though, Gauzy 7.

I have tried tibhar force pro blue tibhar force pro black HRT clipper clipper classic p700 donic persson 7 custom made 7 ply rosewood outer and limba outer butterfly SK7 TSP Swat OSP Ultimate II Xiom Solo Sanwei Fextra TBH if I could just tame my fh on the Fextra I think I might be ok with that!!

Trying to find a 7 ply blade similar to Xiom Solo but with Limba outers, and not as fast as Sanwei Fextra. Only Avalox BT777, Joola Nature and Falck 7 left to try or a long shot Clipper CR, but I thought Clipper was too stiff.

Anyone on the forum use or tried a Joola Nature? Be a good blade for mid pimples on bh? Maybe a bit more controlled than Sanwei Fextra?

Hey EJP, what fh rubber do you use with the fextra? I like 05fx but I am finding it hard to control on Fextra, so I tried dropping too 1.9 and that is a bit too thin on Fextra I think. I agree even mid pips are quite excellent on this blade on bh. I just need to get a bit more control of that fh.

I think you could be right! The Rhyzer 43 was really trash, basically a beginner rubber. Great for slapping every ball. Probably be ok as a bh rubber, but not impressed on the fh!

From my own recent personal experiences I would say the blade is the absolute biggest factor in short pip use. I have tried about 9 or 10 different 7 ply woods, a couple of carbon blades and several 5 ply woods. If you want to attack with the pips you absolutely need a harder or stiffer or both...

I think Solo is a lot quicker than Force Pro Blue, Although mine is 93g, but I think it is the hardness of the Koto outer on Solo. I think Solo is much better for pips on bh then force pro or Fextra. I can't control max 05fx on Xiom Solo. I am tempted to try a Falck 7, sadly we are in 1 month...
