  1. Replacement for the 8-80 and H3 BS?

The battle 2 series is quite good too, there is the Battle 2 soft (37) and I also have used battle 2 39 degree on the FZD. At the moment I use D09c on FH and Glayer 09c on backhand on the FZD :)
  2. Donic Whipper Outer Carbon - Initial thoughts

To me I do feel this Donic blade is more controllable and has more feel than the Timo boll alc blade.
  3. Donic Whipper Outer Carbon - Initial thoughts

An update, the softer rubber Glayzer 05 (2.1) works well for the forehand on this blade. This review helped me decide that the Glayzer might be a good fit for this blade https://racketinsight.com/table-tennis/butterfly-glayzer-review/ With the Glayzer it still had plenty of speed (still fast)...
  4. Donic Whipper Outer Carbon - Initial thoughts

I put a glayzer rubber on the forehand and it felt nice bouncing the ball on the blade - not to bouncy and good feel. Will test it in the next 24 hours.
  5. Donic Whipper Outer Carbon - Initial thoughts

So an update, I tried dignics 05 (1.9) on the forehand and feeling is now there but it's now even faster and less control and less dwell than dignics 09c . It was great for attacking , driving the ball and smashing but the touch shots was not controllable enough. I think they need 2.1 rubbers as...
  6. Donic Whipper Outer Carbon - Initial thoughts

Similar handle to butterfly FZD- good for medium size hands, slightly on the thicker side , fairly smooth and comfortable to hold.
  7. Alternative rubber a bit faster than Rakza 7

I moved from razka 7 to razka X, 2 mm is faster than max on 7. It is slightly lower throw though
  8. Donic Whipper Outer Carbon - Initial thoughts

Sorry for the delay - I had chance to try it on proper competition table last saturday. Summary: Positive: Its a good blade, great price, its faster most blades I have tried except for probably Timo boll alc but probably similar speeds. Fast even with D09c and even when not activating the...
  9. Cleaning Sticky (tacky) rubbers - advice needed

Hi, I read somewhere that you should only use water in cleaning sticky (tacky)/chinese rubbers. where as with non tacky rubber you can use normal rubber cleaner. Is that correct? What about dignic 09c ? Thanks
  10. Butterfly Dimitrij Ovtcharov Innerforce ALC Review

I have the FZD too and tried the OVT ALC, I liked it (the feel) but it seem so head heavy and found I was swinging slower. I like the FZD as easier to swing and seem to have quite good dwell time for an outer carbon. I use D09c on forehand and Glayzer 09c on backhand. I could imagaine if I used...
  11. Best limba carbon blade

Are you talking about limba inner carbon or limba outer carbon blades?
  12. Alternative to Dignics 09C

The other rubber is battle 2 (39 degrees). A bit slower than D09c but just as controllable, it is quite a heavy rubber though.
  13. Donic Whipper Outer Carbon - Initial thoughts

Hi, Just got the new Donic Whiper Outer Carbon - 88g (5.85 mm) , its under 1/2 the price of a butterfly equivalent. Put a D09c on FH and Battle 2 soft (37) backhand, had a brief hit with it (about 15 minutes). A colleague tried it to and is considering in getting oneheeague My initial thoughts...
  14. Help to Choose a Carbon Blade ( Preferrably Butterfly)

If you want one of the most controlled outer alc blade - the butterfly outer force alc, it's inbetween a innerforce and outer force blade for speed. Great control. A little slower than viscaria and timo boll but has more control and good feeling if you use to all wood blade. Steve

    Anyone tried this blade ??
  16. Donic Whiper Outer carbon

Hi, Has anyone tried the Donic Whiper Outer carbon? It looks like a fairly new blade and fairly cheap? Any Thoughts. Thanks

Hi, Wondering has anyone had both blades ? How do the two compare in speed and control and feeling. Which would have less catapult and easier to mange spin and in the short game too. Thanks
