  1. Viscaria vs Timo Boll ALC

Great to have an update. A friend has the TimoBoll alc, and he uses the Razka z on the forehand so he has more control and it slows it down a bit. he has Tenergy 64 on backhand though. The Freitas - I am surprised your friend finds it slow - what rubbers do you use on it? I have tried both...
  2. Blade upgrade from Korbel (Japan)

I found the innerforce an easy progression from the Butterfly Korbel (Japan), gained both speed and spin without losing control. Just a little less feeling but it still has some of that wood feel. :)
  3. Blade upgrade from Korbel (Japan)

I moved from Korbel to Nitaku acoustic inner-carbon alc and then Butterfly innerforce layer alc. Either of those would be fine. Get more speed without losing to much control. Both have Limba outers, which gives plenty of dwell time and helps with control. You could also try the new Butterfly...
  4. Need help finding a good all to off- blade (carbon preferred)

If you want good control not to much speed - Butterfly Outerforce alc, its in between innerforce and outer alc. Or the Butterfly innerforce alc.
  5. Whats is the difference Freitas ALC, Boll ALC, Vicaria?

Has anyone compared the FZD ALC and Frietas alc? I heard the FZD ALC is softer and has more control than the Viscaria. Thanks

I think this guy who does these reviews is from India and maybe sells different models? :
  7. Blade advice

I think they might of meant the Butterfly Marcos Freitas ALC?? A bit slower and more controlled than viscaria - some inner carbon options - butterfly innerforce layer alc, a DHS 301 - Koto inner carbon, Nitaku acoustic inner carbon. A slower outercarbon is the new Butterfly Outerforce alc.
  8. Fan Zhendong alc vs Marcos Frietas alc

Has anyone used both these blades. Wondering how these two blades compare for both speed and control? Which do you prefer? Thanks
  9. Butterfly Outerforce ALC ? Opinions - anyone uses it?

Hi, I briefly had a short hit with the new Butterfly Outerforce alc with dignics 09c as well as TB ALC and spirit. Seems less head heavy very balanced, lighter/ softer and little more control but a little less speed than the TB ALC/Spirit. Has anyone else tried the outerforce alc? Your...

Hi, Wondering how you going with the outerforce blade? How does it compare with a Butterfly...

Hi, Wondering how you going with the outerforce blade? How does it compare with a Butterfly innerforce alc, what I am currently using. Is it faster, similar levels of control?? Also how does it compare with Timoboll spirit, Timoboll alc/Viscaria. I dont want to lose control and good play close...
  11. How does Timoboll spirit compare with Timoboll ALC & Viscaria

Hi, Wondering how the following 3 butterfly blades compare - Timoboll spirit vs Timoboll ALC and Viscaria. I see the spirit is considerably cheaper - which has the best control especially in the short game and less spin sensitive? If you are moving from an inner carbon and want to try for first...
  12. Forehand - Razka X or Glayzer (Normal) or Nittaku G1.

Hi, I am wondering if anyone has compared these rubbers for the forehand (G1, Glayzer, Razka x) - prefer 2mm. I want something with good speed, less catapult, good in the short game, plenty of control and not spin sensitive. Also I have used the Rosena for awhile , and like to upgrade, to less...
  13. Butterfly Glayzer or Razka 7 on Butterfly Innerforce Layer alc blade

Hi, I have started using a Butterfly innerforce layer alc with Butterfly Sriver on backhand and normal Butterfly Glayzer in forehand. I sometimes find a little catapulty with Glayzer and I think Glayzer has a high arc too, so wondering whether to try Razka 7 on the Forehand - wondering if the...
  14. Butterfly Innerforce layer ALC or Butterfly Harimoto IF ALC

Hi, An update , I ended up getting the Butterfly Innerforce Layer alc., 6mm at around 91g for a good price. I use Butterfly Sriver on backhand and normal Butterfly Glayzer in forehand. At first it felt a bit stiff, hard and a bit uncontrollable and fast. It seems to after about 5 hours play it...
  15. Butterfly Innerforce layer ALC or Butterfly Harimoto IF ALC

Hi, I am looking at two blades - Butterfly Innerforce ALC & Butterfly Harimoto version, and wondering how they compare for speed, spin and control. Has anyone compared the two? I have been reading reviews that say the Harimoto has a bigger head and that's the main difference and for some when...
  16. Nittaku Acoustic vs Nittaku Acoustic Inner Carbon

That is a hard question. On hard blade I tend to go a little softer rubbers, on a soft blade I tend to go a little harder rubbers. Trial and error for me. :) The N A IC Its more on a flexible side for a inner carbon bat, as its fairly soft outerply wood (limba) I found it worked better with...
  17. DHS Fang Bo Bx2 query

I read someone tried the butterfly Harimoto Innerforce and found it a harder blade than the bx2
  18. Nittaku Acoustic vs Nittaku Acoustic Inner Carbon

You using different rubbers on different blades, maybe swap them and see if it's the rubbers that don't suit your blade
  19. DHS Fang Bo Bx2 query

Hi, Wondering what the Fan Bo Bx2 is compared to the DHS 301 for control/feel, speed and spin also the Butterfly innerforce layer alc. Thanks
  20. Nittaku Acoustic vs Nittaku Acoustic Inner Carbon

I have the N IC version g-revision, great blade however I found it depends on your rubbers you use. I found with Rozena rubber it was to bouncy for the blade and I lacked control in the short game. I moved to Razka X, harder rubber got the right mix of control and speed now. The NIC version I...
