  1. Dignics 09C – Serious Quality Issue NOT STICKY ? Let’s Talk About It.

So if the manufacturers wanted to satisfy pro players by going less tacky then they should have made a new model. Go with Hurricane 4 or 5 and leave the 3 as is. By changing the formulation and not changing the model they're alienating the people who liked the original characteristics. Same...
  2. Dignics 09C – Serious Quality Issue NOT STICKY ? Let’s Talk About It.

Maybe there's some counterfeiting going on. Maybe they changed the formula with the substance that gives rubber some tack. Look what happened to Hurricane. We still don't know why H3 lost its tack. The manufacturers are eerily quiet about that.
  3. 👟 SANWEI New Color Table Tennis Shoes Released!👟

I don't see any information regarding widths on the website. Which is why I asked the question.
  4. Why is H3 BS so hard to use?

I've tried it in the past. I thought it was too heavy. I didn't use it long enough to remember the longevity. At double the price of Chinese rubbers I started to lean away from it.
  5. Why is H3 BS so hard to use?

This is why I don't use H3 anymore. The top sheet is just not tacky anymore so soft shots are harder to spin.
  6. Best Chinese sticky rubbers that don't need boosting

I feel Chinese rubbers without booster is made for people with good footwork and high stamina. I found with some booster it gives me a bigger margin of error where I don't have to have perfect footwork to activate the grip and power.
  7. Lighter weight DHS Hurricane 3 alternative ?

What about a Loki rubber? It's similar to H3 and lighter. I like Rxton, Arthur China and Yasaka Bolo. They are much more stickier and similar in sponge hardness. I've been looking for H3 alternative for awhile now. I started with Skyline and gave up when the rubber lost it's tackiness.
  8. Tony has been banned and won't return

Well I wasn't the one that started it.
  9. Tony has been banned and won't return

  10. Tony has been banned and won't return

If Taiwan is part of China then why does it have it's own government, currency, flag, army, economy, etc ???? No way does Taiwan want to be part of communist China. Just look at what happened to Hong Kong.
  11. Marty Supreme table tennis film

The best TT movie I think is Ping Pong Playa. It was hilarious and the playing scenes were semi decent.
  12. Why Taiwan isn’t “Taiwan” at the Olympics

You say it's not political but in fact it is exactly political. The history is a complete crock of sh!t due to China interference. Athletes or any representative from TAIWAN are not allowed to use the country name because China doesn't recognize TAIWAN as a sovereign independent country. So...
  13. Short Documentary about Match Fixing in Amateur Table Tennis

Just amazes me how illegal gambling infiltrates all type of events. I guess if there's enough money to be made you will always attract the criminals.
  14. Multicolor rubbers fading

In '83 I had a rubber that was golden yellow and semi transparent.
  15. Multicolor rubbers fading

But that will be up to the manufacturers willing to carry the extra complexity. Beginner rubbers are generally less expensive therefore lower profit margins. So they will be even less inclined to carry them.
  16. Multicolor rubbers fading

It seems the new rubbers coming out only offer the basic red and black now. The manufacturers are not making those crazy multi colored rubbers anymore. I knew when new colors were approved it would be a fad. With multiple thickness and colors each rubber would have an explosion of variants...
  17. New sticky andro rubber Plasma 500S

How "sticky" is it? Every time a non Chinese manufacturer claims "tacky" or "sticky" it's not. Can it hold a ball upside down for more than a second? Or pick up a ball from the table upside down?
  18. Time to try Hurricane 3

You mentioned you've played Chinese rubbers when you were in university. So you already know what the H3 will be like. I haven't noticed much difference between various Chinese rubbers other than quality of manufacturing. As far as H3 it's less tacky nowadays. My preference is more towards...
