I've had the same experience with other hybrid type of ESN rubbers. Dragon grip and PK50 wears out fast too. It seems this is par for the course. When their grip starts to wear the rubber performance basically drops off the cliff.

I don't like how he places the rubber on a bottle top to dry. It places more tension on one point so that spot would dry to be a little different. I know he wants to let the rubber curl naturally but I think it's better to lay it on top of a rolling pin or long curved surface.
