  1. EJ's advice needed for a new blade

Just weighed my blades: Rossi 86.0gr Vega Pro 86.4gr Fire Fall FC 87.7gr @Langel, compared to the Rossi, I got more flex in the Vega Pro for sure. That much flex, it crossed my mind that one of the inner plies might be broken even. A heavier blade is indeed a good option of which I haven't...
  2. EJ's advice needed for a new blade

@Ingo_Ger, MX rubbers may feel a bit too heavy, but might give MX-S a try. @chintanmashroo, still have a Freitas ALC, but didn't like it and will sell it soon. I prefer innerfibre of wood blades. The new Harimoto might be worth trying indeed. Haven't checked out P1 but will certainly look into...
  3. EJ's advice needed for a new blade

Hi everyone, recently I'm switching between a couple of blades and I'm now looking for a blade that combines the strenghts of these blades. Could use some advice of (fellow) EJ's. :) I like the control of the Fire Fall FC I like the speed of Rossi Emotion (maybe bit faster, but not looking for...
  4. Stiga Genesis 2 M rubber reviews

Thanks for the review. (You copied/paste a bit too much by the way.) Do you send your review prior to posting on the forum to Felix as a heads up or to get his approval???
  5. Xiom Icecream AZX and AZX i Blade Review

Again nice review guys. Look like AZX is way too fast for me, but the AZXi is more suitable for my style. Like @G_ZHANG mentioned, a comparison with some other blades would be nice indeed.
  6. I’m in wrong path.. need Allround blade / Control blade & rubber

Although true, still putting 10-12 blades for sale soon. ....so I can reinvest in new blades :D
  7. New Table Tennis Equipment 2019

Probably will be pretty expensive as well then...
  8. Butterfly release Tomokazu Harimoto New Blade

Nice technical approach of the HL3 and HL5 vs (for example) IF ALC. Not exactly TH IALC, but might be pretty close. https://ttgearlab.com/2019/02/18/dhs-hurricane-long-5-3-overview-lab-test/
  9. Marvellous 12 2019

First time I noticed LSW is not playing with her own blade. Looking at the footage it seems a viscaria? PS: maybe she switched long time ago already, but I don;t watch that many videos ;)
  10. Butterfly Innerforce ALC.SOFT vs. Innterforce ZLC

Can't give any feedback on the Innerforce series, as I haven't played with them. just wanted to mention I'll follow this thread ;) I'm interested in ALC.S as well. Use the Stiga Infinity for a couple of years and really like the blade. Just looking for some extra speed and "crisp". In...

  13. Xiom ice cream blade

Hills4ever, that's very cool of you and I would like to participate. 1. Been playing TT for over 30 years with over 20 years in regional leagues. And at 44 years still enjoy playing 2 times a week. I have an above average stress-level daily job and playing TT is great for putting my mind on...
  14. Xu Xin's Equipment

Wow....240 EUR for the regular version even. Wonder what price the Xu Xin version will have  Expensive blades is becoming a trend more and more it seems. The new Xiom blades are 200 EUR as well.
  15. Stiga Liner Shoe

Liner II looks very nice :) Think I will give them a try.
  16. World Junior Championships 2017

I like Truls' style and like watching his matches. But I do not see a new Waldner unfortunately. Moregard misses the incredible feeling of the ball by Waldner. Moregard is still very young and has the potential to become a great player indeed. (I hope he sticks with Stiga and not turn over to BTY.)
  17. Have you ever used Nittaku Fastare c 1 ??

As two wing looper , I always try to loop as soon as possible. I used to do slow, but very spinny loops. With C-1, I switched to faster, well placed loops. A bit less spin, but easier to do fast loops. Don't get me wrong, loops with C-1 are still spinny, but just don't expect the same amount of...
  18. Have you ever used Nittaku Fastare c 1 ??

Testing the C-1 (2.1 aka super-thick) at the moment actually, using a OFF- carbon blade on my BH. It's a very decent rubber, a bit soft but harder compared to the ESN soft rubbers. It doesn't feel mushy at all. Doesn't generate massive amount of spin (compared to T05 and some Chinese rubbers)...

Great review with nice comparison of the different blades. Thanks! @Dan, how would you compare the Freitas ALC to your Carbonado 145 in terms of speeds & control ?
