  2. Best rubbers to go with Timo ball ZLF?

Hi there, There's no such thing as best rubbers for a given blade, otherwise everyone would be playing with that setup, it's really up to the player's level and preferences in terms of feel, playing characteristics, hardness... How long have you been playing? Do you play at a club? Do you...

  6. Equipment Help

It's good that you have good control, that's one of the most important parts of the game, and one that's hard to learn or teach, since it's very personal. Vladimir Samsonov is a great role model to have, he's an expert of control and the fundamentals, he makes it look so easy although it's a lot...
  7. Equipment Help

Power comes from technique and physique, using your core and legs more. R47 is already a powerful rubber, Xiom Offensive S (great blade!) has good power and speed already too. Are you also doing core and legs exercises regularly to increase your power aside from training at the table? Technique...
  8. Equipment Help

They're both very spinny rubbers. Technically, MX-P can generate more spin if you are a high level player, but Aurus Prime is easier to generate spin with. How long have you been playing? What blade and rubbers are you currently using? Why are you looking to change?
  9. Equipment Help

Hi, They're both good rubbers, the question is not which is better, it's which rubber is best suited for you? Which might also be another rubber altogether. MX-P is faster, bouncier and less controlled, less predictable, more spin sensitive, and easier to make mistakes with. Aurus Prime is...
  10. A rubber between MX-P and EL-S

I actually like that you revived your old thread. I had totally missed it from some reason, but I just read through it all. I don't think it really answered your original query, but it did have excellent posts about choosing rubbers etc. Are you still looking for a rubber between MX-P and EL-S...
  11. Need advice with selecting an OSP blade

The V'King is the closest 5-ply to the Rosewoods. He could also make you a Rosewood clone. Since you like these characteristics, you'd likely enjoy 7-ply blades. You could start with a thinner 7-ply (6.0mm) like the Martin OFF Pro.
  12. New Equipment 2021

Yea, DHS presents it as an OFF+ Defensive carbon blade for chop and attack in its 2021 catalog. Fit for a modern defender who also plays attack à la Hou and Joo Saehyuk. I wonder how large the blade's face is.
  13. Epic Ping Pong Match!

Fun to see you guys play sandpaper! The movements really don't look different, and your technique is good which this video highlights, you get through the shots on both wings even when hitting which you have to do here, rather than a more spin oriented game with rubbers.
  14. Blade Makers' Challenge: Jin Sukizawa's blade

Nice work, this blade looks gorgeous! Are you even allowed to play with a blade that looks this nice? 😁

Isn't it supposed to be a defensive blade anyway? Used by Hou Yingchao?
  17. Please advise choosing Table Tennis Table !!!

Never heard of Leoviz, but they both look like thick top and sturdy tables with good bases. Double Fish is a trusted brand that makes good tables, so I'd probably go for that one if they're roughly the same thickness and it's not too much more price-wise.
