  1. Blade Makers' Challenge - Nate

Love the thought process and composition of this blade! And the handle is looking very nice! Could you tell us how thick the blade is?
  2. New market for Butterfly: Vintage Reissue models

Yea, I love it even if it's temporary. If he really were to change, I could totally see Butterfly use that as an opportunity to market a new premium Timo blade like you said! Haha. Do you have the link to his post?
  3. What to focus on, to generate lots of spin in pendeulum serve

Do you have a link to this net barrier video?
  4. New market for Butterfly: Vintage Reissue models

Cool to see some pros including Timo go back to the old Tamca 5000, makes sense as they're using spinnier but slower rubbers (D09C), so they can back them up with more power. Looks like he made a quick change, but he could stick with it and just have Butterfly customize it with TB ALC handle...
  5. Tibhar MX-D

    I've heard Infinity MX-P Fall 2021, Infinity MX-S 2022.
  6. Which equipment for young Talents?

Again you're talking about fine tuning a racket for a national (even international/future pro) level kid who's highly professionally trained and spends hours everyday, which is very different than picking a blade and rubbers for your average local kid. And the blade and rubbers Harimoto's father...
  7. Blade or Rubber?

I would do the same and later on reglue the rubbers to a preferred blade, but this is very hypothetical, and not what OP was asking/hinting at. Also, what if the store doesn't sell Xiom 😉. Totally agree with you on the process.
  8. New Equipment 2021

You can see it in the link ttarc posted.
  9. New Equipment 2021

  11. Ashes 2019 issues

What do any your posts and links have to do with Table Tennis? NOTHING. Your writing doesn't actually make sense. SPAM.
  12. Are the handle shapes of the butterfly rackets different?

The Butterfly blades don't have the same standard shape. Viscaria FL = ZJK FL = LGY FL = 100 x 25 x 34 mm larger oval handle with wavy wide neck Timo Boll ALC FL = Timo Boll Spirit FL = 100 x 24 x 34 mm skinny rounder handle with skinny neck
  13. Bounce test teaser!!!

Before seeing the results, I watched the video several times and wrote this on my phone: 1) Probably HT (but could be ESS) 2) For sure HT 3) For sure CT 4) For sure ESS 5) Probably ESS (but could be HT) Anyway, fun test, and it's nice to see them Viscarias, Acoustic etc laid one next to another!
  14. Blade upgrade recommendation

Don't get me wrong, it's definitely one way, but on the other end, he'd have to go with some of the most moderate rubbers like Vega Intro, and that coupled with the 7-ply (much less feel) has real chances of throwing him off. Whereas a 5-ply with old gen ESN like Vega Japan seems to me like a...
  15. Viscaria with H3Neo and Skyline TG 3 neo

Hey IB, Thank you for getting back to me with your impressions! Sorry H3N and TG3 unboosted didn't feel good for you on the Viscaria. They're definitely hard rubbers, and it's especially felt on Koto + ALC. I'm on an H3 tip at the moment and the hardness doesn't seem to bother me on the...
  16. Blade upgrade recommendation

Going the 5-ply OFF- classic route is the clearest and safest, it will provide you with more feel and control which is what you need to improve your technique, while still giving you a bump in speed, and it won't feel too dissimilar from your current blade. Then it will be easier to calibrate...
  17. Which equipment for young Talents?

You asked about "young talents", which implies kids at the top of their age groups nationally who already play at a higher level than most adults, not just your average kid. If you take your average kid or any kid and adult starting of for that matter, then it's best that they start with an...
  18. Which equipment for young Talents?

A lot of the talented kids use Timo Boll ALC or Innerforce ALC or ZLC with regular or FX Tenergy rubbers, not that it matters. Harimoto was using a Ai Fukuhara Pro ZLF with T64 2.1mm FH and T64 FX 1.9mm BH when he was 11 years old. You can see what some of the young Japanese...
