  1. Dignics 05 vs Tenergy 05 Hard

Counter style is quite good with 47.5d when close to the table. When you take even half a step back 50d rubbers are better. Considering this you might find TO5H unforgiving, while D05 gives more gears and support during these balls. Obviously hybid and tacky rubbers are even better, you could...
  2. Fang Bo's brand

Loki rubbers is pretty wild statement, for the price you get decent rubbers sure. But besides Rxton 9 they don't have many smash hits in big markets. LAC is bought on sale for under €10, and the qc isn't great either.
  3. Do Butterfly blades have hollow handles?

Most tabletennis blades have a part out of the handle. This is to get the balance from the handle to the center. Stiga wrb is a lot more carved out. Same goes for the handle parts.
  4. Oversized blade for chopping and support for attacking with soft feeling?

Sanwei Alpha, large head with soft outer layer. I'd recommend 39/40 hurricane 3 neo on forehand. Friend of mine has this combo (long pips bh) As i am below avarage with long pips i can't handle this. But the forehand is full of power and spin, a bit heavy to swing hard with.
  5. Donic Bluestar A2 Test

Donic is famous for bad durability, although acuda s1 doesn't die out in my experience. Baracuda lost speed and Bluestorm z1 speed and grip. Acuda s1 kept both. My sheet rozena lasted half a season, seriously didn't expect the grip to fade this much this quick. Stiga DNA pro grip is good after...
  6. Is there merit in stepping in with left foot (for righthanded forehand)?

bro i just swing without thinking about it, 90% succes rate. When someone says i should do something else, it drops to like 60%
  7. Rubber for recreation

Not really, heard of it but nothing else
  8. Rubber for recreation

andro good in 1.8 is quite... good😅 Our youngest decent player in our club is using it in 1.8 & 2.1. I prefer the 1.8 better close to table. Speed is there when you want it, not spin sensitive in the slightest. Spin is still quite good. 6.5/10 speed&spin and 10/10 ease of use. €20 a sheet on...
  9. Using an Expensive Rubber vs Cheap Rubber, that is the question.

Back to OP STIGA DNA and Mantra pro M are high end quality rubbers. Dhs goldarc 5/8 have nice medium sponges aswel. These rubbers i bought all for under €30 per. Other "cheaper" tensor like rubbers have some kind of issue. These rubbers feel completely diffirent to ACC tho. I love the feeling...
  10. Dignics 09c longevity

D05 is very good, if you want more first bounce speed D80 is better. D09C is also a option, i just prefer ESN/ tensor on forehand as i am lazy as all heck on the forehand.
  11. Aliexpress Anniversary Sale 2024

Bought my third YINHE pro 01 with more STIGA DNA pro m rubbers. Perhaps i should get other tensor rubbers while they are cheap
  12. What about this Long Pips combination?

My old team/clubmate plays long pips, I am now 400+ rating higher. I had 61 second cobra long pips on Stiga offensive as a joke, but he liked it so much that i gave it to him. Now i have Feint soft 2 on a 5 ply random blade to train the 10 year olds. Honestly i prefer the more defense style of...
  13. What about this Long Pips combination?

you are high quality pip player, pretty cool setup with nice attack possibilities
  14. recently got a fextra 7 and musa 3 BH, Tornado V5 FH

Either get a dead rubber or hybrid for the backhand. It doesn't make much sense tho, this is already a very controlled setup.
  15. T05, what hardness?

    47d
  16. Best rubber under $5?

Tornado V5 is a outstander of the €5 rubbers. Mercury 2 soft is great for beginners. Currently using it on my Jpen backhand.
  17. Should I try H3Neo out? (coming from G1 and MX-S)

The rubbers you use are fine. changing equipment isn't making you better unless you use something that just doesn't fit you. Best way to try something is to buy the same blade & rubber and put the rubber you want to try on it. But ye, get Hurricane 3 commercial. Don't like it? you wont like...
  18. Rosewood/Walnut, help

Weight is too different to compare in my opinion. In my experience, walnut is harder. Rosewood has more dwell. While walnut is harder, it doesn't have more speed. Rosewood is more manageable and better for spin. When you put Walnut on a thick blade, it has amazing feeling and is clearly better...
  19. Punch Oriented Backhand Rubbers

Besides Tenergy/ Dignics 64 the only rubber that came to mind is Joola Rhyzm and Donic Acuda S1/2. Those rubbers are all spinny sure, but man the flat hits in rally are just fantastic. I'd say in rally T64>D64>S1>Rhyzm>S2. First openup (spin) S2>Rhyzm>T64>D64=S1 But all these rubbers are...
