  1. European Veterans Championship Novi Sad 2025

Meanwhile, they are in the semi-finals. There are a few familiar faces who used to be top players and are participating in this tournament. Overview by age category: https://www.ettu.org/european-veterans-championships/ > Draws
  2. Soft vs Hard Rubbers – Which One Gives Better Blade Feeling?

Yes indeed. But it's a bit strange. I prefer soft rubbers, then I feel the ball better as it goes "deeper" into the rubber. With harder rubbers, the ball does not go as far into the rubber, jumps away faster and the feeling is gone with me.
  3. Liang Jingkun signs with LOKI

I almost took the same picture last week:
  4. ITTF WTTC Finals Doha 2025, 5/17-25

When someone starts with "dude", I know the level goes down.
  5. ITTF WTTC Finals Doha 2025, 5/17-25

I think, mentally Hugo is not the strongest of all the top 10 players but hope it changes quickly later in the final when he has a look at Bruna...;)
  6. ITTF WTTC Finals Doha 2025, 5/17-25

What was happened with LYJ left knee and still with his left wrist?
  7. ITTF WTTC Finals Doha 2025, 5/17-25

What I wrote here a few weeks/months ago, despite Harimoto being a great player he will never be No1, Olympic champion or individual world champion, ever! This is slightly different for Felix, who I can definitely see individually standing on the top step in one of the major championships one day.
  8. Andro TP Ligna Allround Table Tennis Blade review?

More practice! But, maybe isn’t Rasanter the best rubber for you and your blade.
  9. Rasanter R45 or G-1, more controllable?

Is it for on the Andro Ligna all wood? FH, BH, on both sides? I did not like the Rasanter R45 on my Temper Tec. Try walking first before trying to run.
  10. ITTF WTTC Finals Doha 2025, 5/17-25

Big victory of the Belgian no3!
  11. Andro TP Ligna Allround Table Tennis Blade review?

Possibly a Timber has a larger handle late I have never tried it. I have now had 4 Andro timbers in the past and all of them I found slim and ideal for my hands.
  12. Andro TP Ligna Allround Table Tennis Blade review?

It is a great blade with an unprecedented feel. It is very close to the blade I played with years ago, which was an Andro Temper Tech all+. For me, still the blade with the very best ball feel. If you put offensive rubbers on a Ligna All, example 2.1, you are not going to be short of anything in...
  13. What blade does Gionis actually use?

That's not correct. He was at our club on 27 April last and with what he is playing now I have already mentioned once above.
  14. Need tips on how to improve my feeling/control

Feeling and control are two different things. Control can be learned through much, very much practice. Feeling is a little more difficult, some are born with it like Desmond Douglas, XuXin, J-O Waldner, Truls Möregard, and a few others. You either have it in you or you don't. That is not to say...
  15. What blade does Gionis actually use?

Pana was in our club last week. He is indeed playing with a Korbel OFF (Japan), Feint long 2 on his BH and Tenergy 05 on his FH. Great personality!
  16. Superlight weight allround setup

Nay yet not. I play with the Gewo so on my FH and that is topspin from short & medium distance with lots of rotation (old style) I do/can do the same on my BH as my FH but use the Hexer Grip SFX mainly to block but can also use it to flip over the table. I also used to play with Hexer Grip SFX...
  17. Superlight weight allround setup

The composition is in my signature:
  18. If you are the CNT boss, what would you do?

Only 6 more Chinese players in the top 30 in the men's side!
  19. Zhang Jike: "Those who rely primarily on a Backhand system, can not reach the top"

Indeed, his mental resilience was exceptionally high.
