  1. 7 ply all-wood with Koto outer and Ayous intermediate and core

Where did you take the frequency measurements?
  2. 7 ply all-wood with Koto outer and Ayous intermediate and core

Hello, I tried a Butterfly Power 7. What a blade! Of course like all good things in tabletennis it's been discontinued. Now I'm looking for a koto-ayous-ayous-ayous-ayous-ayous-koto that ideally should be close to 5.7 mm. I found DHS Power-G9 (6.3mm) and YinHe Uranus U-2 (6 mm). Anyone that can...
  3. Looking for rubbers with medium hardness and good control

May I ask what blade suited G1 well for you?
  4. Looking for rubbers with medium hardness and good control

You mentioned Aurus, I reckon you meant Aurus Prime, is that correct? Or are you talking about a different model?
  5. Looking for rubbers with medium hardness and good control

Lots of people has only good words for this rubber. I'm a bit afraid because I have an FX-S on my Yasaka Sweden Extra and I found this rubber uncontrollable (because too sensitive to spin) and very sensitive to humidity. Overall my experience with Tibhar rubbers is really poor.
  6. Looking for rubbers with medium hardness and good control

I found Vega X enough durable, at least for my frequency of use. I did notice a change in performance but overall it was still great rubber for my taste. What scares me is that Barracuda is heavier than Vega X. My Primorac with 2 Vega X is already 189 grams. I'm planning to potentially use the...
  7. Looking for rubbers with medium hardness and good control

I agree on the pricing. 60+ euros for a Stiga rubber, I believe is just nuts. Butterfly should be selling Tenergy at 200 euros in comparison. These days you can get a Xiom Vega X at 29 euros, I cannot believe DNA Platinum M is twice as good as Xiom Vega X.
  8. Looking for rubbers with medium hardness and good control

Just realized I can buy in Sweden with no customs, it's just a currency change thing that I can get at no extra fees with Revolut. Really nice! I bookmarked your website, thanks for the advice.
  9. Looking for recommendations

Recently bought a Yasaka Sweden Extra. I put soft rubbers because advices online said that the soft rubbers allow the blade to give an extra kick. Oh my... when I'm at the table the wood sounds a symphony. I tried Tibhar FX-S and Xiom Vega Europe both ~2.0mm. When my coach tried the bat, he got...
  10. Easy-To-Use Tensor Rubbers

I found Xiom Vega Europe 2.0mm (42.5°) amazing for its price. I can control the ball easily with that rubber on a Yasaka Sweden Extra. Definitely a tensor for beginners that are still developing their technique.
  11. Looking for rubbers with medium hardness and good control

Really interesting product, but looks like quite tough to find on the European market. I would need to import that. How does this compare to a Rakza Z? (In case you know)
  12. Looking for rubbers with medium hardness and good control

Thanks for these alternatives. I'll have a look! I'm also looking at these rubbers, in case any of you guys can give me some feedback: Donic barracuda Nittaku Hammond Z2 Tibhar Aurus Prime
  13. Looking for rubbers with medium hardness and good control

Yes 2.0mm is my usual thickness. I go 1.9mm or 2.1mm if 2.0mm isn't available for the specific rubber. I try to stay inside that range.
  14. Looking for rubbers with medium hardness and good control

Thanks for the insight. Rakza X is one of the rubbers on the radar. I'll have a look at the DNA platinum M, I had a couple of tries with that rubber, once on a $10 blade and once on an all-wood cybershape. I didn't like the feeling but I had the impression it was due to the blade in both cases.
  15. Looking for rubbers with medium hardness and good control

Hello, could you advise inverted rubbers with medium hardness and very good control for a developing offensive player? I was thinking to mount these on a Nittaku Septear Lead that is a little bit lighter than usual woods, so avoid super heavy rubbers but weight wouldn't be a top priority in my...
  16. Chat GPT in table tennis

I found chatgpt providing wrong data about rubbers hardness and discording description with the provided hardness. Definitely unreliable when it comes to equipment.
  17. Looking for sth to play with BTY Primorac OFF-

I currently like how Xiom Vega X behaves on this blade. I would suggest that only for FH, tbh. If I were to change my BH rubber I would mount a Tibhar FX-P, I tried it and I got impressed. There's also FX-S that is considered an upgrade of it. It's very tempting.
