  1. Most reliable and long-lasting non-tacky rubbers other than Butterfly.

I must say, Many players of my club use Stiga Calibra LT (sound). They are using it for 3 years, I tried their blades and it felt grippy and soft. I don't know about other hardness versions but sound seems very durable.
  2. Help choosing backhand rubber

I really liked a super hard backhand rubber or soft (42 degree). With rpb i hated medium hard rubbers, didn't give any support or comfort. I'd say KTL rapid speed sound works for a low budget. Harder rubbers work great aswel, 40d commercial Dhs h3 neo is very easy. It just decents on the balance...
  3. Loki IX out on aliexpress

Hey guys, Globalsports is selling Loki Rxton 9. Is it really Dhs n22 sponge nation version alike? €45 is a lot i.m.o for loki rubber.
  4. Moon 12 Blue on sale!

I recently tried STIGA Mantra pro H, Moon 12 blue is basicly the same. Feeling, Arc, Speed, Throw angle. It is as close as Tenergy 05 and Tenergy 80. It is noticeable but not by too much. The biggest difference is in spin. Mantra has more. I think around 15% in every aspect.
  5. Next rubber

Since you didn't show video recordings it might, but perhaps also not. For me, it allows more powerfull shots. But also easy slow spinny ones.
  6. Next rubber

Boosted Reactor tornado v5 Yine moon Yinhe moon 12 Dhs hurricane 3 neo Most rubbers under €10 arent as good as Tornado v5
  7. Moon 12 Blue on sale!

Not comparable to D05, only hardness similar after broken in. Hammond has more spin and ease of use. Moon 12 is very similar to Rozena. Bit more spin and speed (10%~) More spin sensitive. I think it is a lot better for fast and active players, while Rozena is better in taking the ball late and...
  8. Moon 12 Blue on sale!

I also tried H-, It felt 48 degree to me. Just below Dignics 05. Almost the same as Nittaku hammond. I think H- is ideal for backhand
  9. Penhold Rubber Selection Advice

When i played Penhold i used Donic acuda s1, It felt just right on my wooden blade for forehand. I tried s2 for backhand it felt too soft, but control was good. I never tried DHS when i played penhold, now with shakehand it is my forehand rubber forever.
  10. Is it possible to improve with only robot training?

Yeah, I think it would improve your game. You can practice backhand counters and forehand slow and spinny shots. So much negative comments here, You can get more training in the hours the club isn't open. Obviously it is so much different than a coach, But if record and replay your own shots you...
  11. Tenergy for $42?

Is fake, not a trusted shop. Don't buy

  13. Rate my budget build

Well, I had the same setup a long time ago. Xvt archer b carbon with those 2 rubbers, I think both rubbers are fine. Tornade V5 is just a decent rubber for forehand and backhand. Perhaps if you like cardboard feeling and have heavy backhand loop Mercury 2 is better. It is all preference. I wont...
  14. Rate my budget build

I think you can try Tornade v5 both sides tbh. Mercury feels empty, ofc not a bad rubber but if ur casual a better 'feeling' rubber is good.
  15. Fast blade

I used Stiga DNA plat H and M. I know it is 2 carbon 3 wood, i have no idea what makes it so quick. No other blade i tried, tested and used got the first ball speed like this. Szlc with DNA plat H had 90% the speed.
  16. Fast blade

Joola eagle carbon is the fastest blade i've ever tried to control. It was my first ever carbon blade so after a week of trying i switched back. Now i recently tried to compare it to my friends Fzd Szlc and the Joola eagle carbon is way faster. I now use Timo boll Alc, so much control and grip.

  19. Are 5 ply all-wood blades still should be the first blade for beginner?

I am a decent high level club player, i am in charge of equipment and training some newer players (kids age 8/13) A custom blade is a must i.m.o. Often i give them my 5 ply off with tensor rubbers (42.5d) to see if they have early signs of talent, ball feeling etc. 5 ply blades have so much...
  20. Battle 2 National

Tried 40degree blue sponge, good control and spin. Close to table didn't lack speed and it has good grip. Counters are very pleasant at mid distance.
