  1. What blade would you recommend for someone stepping down from carbon?

Sanwei Echo is good. Loki Kirin 5 is also good. If you can still find the blade, ITC T5 is great. They are cheap but the quality is great. Loki Kirin K5 even looks alot like HL5 hahahah.
  2. What is the technical reason Ma Long and top pros love W968?

I'd assume because of how dead it is at low impact, touc shots. As you can see, I'm using Pro 05 which is supposedly similar to 968 or its siblings, Q and S. and I can say I appreciate the touch game of this blade. At the same time, it's able to spin the ball so well with incredible control and...
  3. Monqui Pong open letter to ITTF President regarding service rule

I agree. I have played with two colors balls and it's nearly impossible to judge the spin on the ball as it travels. Not enough time to properly assess the amount, type of spin and so on because the ball travels faster than you actually think of.
  4. Quan Shi Bao is amazing

The blade looks a lot like Yinhe Y-13. Just in case, Y-13 from Yinhe is good for its price.
  5. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Since I know nothing about rating, I'd assume that the opponent is abour 1600-1700.
  6. which coach is right

Opening up the blade with thicker contact is what I would go to in a comfortable situation. Slow loop is what I would do in a tense condition. So, you can do both depending on your situation and condition. If I have to pick one, I'd take the opening up a bit more.
  7. Is super zlc too fast for me?

You got me there, I didn't read everything due to being sleepy and I figured I'd reply to you ASAP, lol. If you find sZLC better, then stick to it. No need to ask for more because at the end of everything it depends on how we feel about the blade.
  8. Switching from Tenergy 05 to H3 Neo

That's gonna be hard for your wrist, bro. Generally, h3 bs is harder than even 09C thus require more efforts and power. I know that's what you have decided but T05 for your RPB is actually better than H3 BS. T05 is easier to use, springier, and more forgiving.
  9. Is super zlc too fast for me?

You think too much, brother. The feel of each person is different and it would be the same for you too. I'd suggest you to try someone else's blade ALC and SZLC and compare them to see which one you like better.
  10. San Francisco looking for training partner.

Seems like Scrubjesus was right all along that Golden Viscaria is truly that good.
  11. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Siiiitttt, I got fooled. Still, considering just their MO so far, it's possible for them to make a bs LAC.
  12. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I haven't but judging from this thread, that blue sponge is like Thanos but blue; it's inevitable.
  13. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

There's already R9 with blue sponge that happens to be up there quality wise, and now LAC with blue sponge. It's hard to keep up with Loki line of products; they have similar products everywhere. They really know how to take advantage of EJ virus, should change their name to Umbrella Corp.
  14. Some Clips of me looping vs chopper

It's a high ball and it's as high as the ceiling, you don't need to worry much abou the spin there. Open up your blade's angle more and slap it hard.
  15. How to deal with the long pips fast swipe??

Pretty easy. You know he does it every time you push to his LP, so you need to be ready for a heavy topspin ball coming down to your forehand. Because you said you are still unable to counterloop it, your best bet would be to move further away from the table and loop it back.
  16. Some Clips of me looping vs chopper

Put your body more to it to add more power. If you plan to end the point, open up your blade's angle a bit more and slap the ball along with the brush. The ball is high anyway, why play it safe by pushing it or looping it only? Lower your stance, no need for such an exaggerated backswing, open...
  17. Why does everybody say Pro 05 is HL5 clone?

Since you are looking for snappy and flexy inner carbon, you should look Yinhe M202 instead of Pro 05. I have tried HL5 once and I have to say, I don't like it all but 05 is much better than HL5
  18. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Is it any different though? It looks like regular ALC and KLC, cosmetic wise.
  19. Playing to Win vs Playing Your Own Game – Mental Crisis!?

If you want to play to have fun, don't care about win and lose, then play your own game. You get happiness that way and it's what matters the most. If you enjoy the feeling and the rush of winning against tougher opponents, then you play to win. Win ugly, scrappy, etc. Since I play to win, TT...
  20. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

What's the difference between Loki W81 and Telson Series, either Speed or China? Price is about the same.
