  1. WTT Macao 2023

Another interesting one for sure! Both playing well at the moment, but I am going to say Hugo's speed and spin will win out vs Dima's power today :-)
  2. Blades with Carbon (ALC) for someone with strong BH

A slower option I like very much is Innerforce ALC
  3. WTT Macao 2023

Did you check the ML vs Pitch score ;-))
  4. Bounce with the Ball / Split-Step

Good idea - I will focus on recovery bounce tonight. Thx!
  5. What happened to OSAI app?

I sent some files there way a few months back and never heard a thing, despite sending contact/feedback etc - guess they went under
  6. Blades with Carbon (ALC) for someone with strong BH

I would have to go with Viscaria given your description of what you are looking for - it is not too fast, but very direct and linear. I would also consider trying a heavier Viscaria (mine are 92g) as they tend to be more balanced with more weight handle side in my experience and so feel lighter...
  7. Bounce with the Ball / Split-Step

I tried to implement bounce steps into my practice on Monday and will again tonight - I found it very challenging to both remember and to co-ordinate. Even when visualising it it's not easy but I am working on first bounce (down) as ball lands my side of table, and second bounce down as ball...
  8. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Nice playing NDH, I have to admit to really struggling vs these types of players - just keeping the rally going ling enough to find the opportunity to play that loop is tough. Congratulations!
  9. WTT Macao 2023

I can't see that happening - Pitch still looks weak to me and I predict a straight sets win for ML :-)
  10. How Did I Win or Lose a Match?

Welcome back brother! It’s a slow process for sure, one step forward and two steps back sometimes. It’s all good though 🏓
  11. Bounce with the Ball / Split-Step

Yeah, I have watched a few now to see it - very interesting. It seems a little hard to conceptualise and co-ordinate in terms of timing the recovery bounce. Do you hit the shot in the slight upwards from the first bounce and then immediately drop into the recovery bounce before jumping up and...
  12. Bounce with the Ball / Split-Step

Very interesting thread for me - footwork is by far my biggest impediment to playing well, and I also find myself lead footed and caught out by a ball coming back to me. I have been trying to find an unlock into better footwork, as opposed to just trying to focus harder on it, which doesn't...
  13. Post your latest EJ purchase

I sell most of my blades once I’m done trying them, mostly on EBay, but have sold a few on here too. I have rarely struggled to find the blade I want to try “used” and normally in the weight range I’m looking for.
  14. WTT Champions Xinxiang 2023

Very disappointing final after such a series of world class matches - I had high hopes for LJK but he was nowhere near the level he’d need to beat FZD. Fan is simply incredible when under pressure at game point down - he always finds the point.
  15. Glayzer

Review by 'Wrighty67' on item 'Glayzer'

I have been playing with Rozena on a 5 ply blade recently in an attempt to slow down my game and improve technique. I wanted to try Glayzer as an alternative to Rozena that might offer a bit more speed and spin without compromising control. I have been playing it both sides on a Korbut SK7...
  16. WTT Champions Xinxiang 2023

He came so desperately close - a truly world class performance and he pushed FZD to his absolute limit today and should be very proud when the disappointment wears off.

Very nice blade - I really liked mine so I hope you enjoy it.
  18. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Very bad luck - I have had ankle problems for many years and often roll my right one. Painful and debilitating. I just got back from skiing and spent time each day worrying that if I fell and hurt a knee I wouldn't be able to play when I got back :-)
