I think NDH makes very fair points here and I would agree. I use Rozena now and have used Tenergy & Dignics in the past. I have mostly played with Butterfly blades too. For me, I have tried various other rubbers that I hoped would offer me what Rozena does, but was always slightly underwhelmed...

I am quite surprised to hear this - my experience has been that T05 is both spinnier and faster than Rozena in all areas.

Can you please elaborate on the para below as I’m really interested in exploring it. I’m confused about the part where you say to press the thumb into the BH rubber - do you mean FH rubber?

Much worse - far less control and more spin sensitivity in my experience.

I can't give you all the detail you are looking for I am afraid, but I have used T19 previously and currently I use Rozena. For me, T19 and Rozena (along with T05) are broadly similar in style and feel, but there is a marked difference in speed, bounce and spin ( and sensitivity to it) which...

I would prefer to think of it as an easier entry to the world of Tenergy for players still developing their skills..

Rozena doesn't replace Tenergy, it is much slower and less reactive. It does however play in a broadly similar fashion and I do find I play the same type of shots with it as I did with T05, but with much greater consistency under pressure.

I can only compare it to higher performance rubbers like Tenergy series, Dignics, C48, MX-P etc - in comparison to these it is a little more restrained and I have found it easier to use, allowing me to hit fuller strokes without fear of the ball going long. I have however found it plenty spinny...

Rozena is the obvious choice in my opinion

I hope you’re right as Paul I have always felt was a world class player waiting to come out.
