  1. What should I learn first and how do I proceed?

I have a friend in Finland who was SH player, prolly around 2000-2100+ level for starters... he got a wrist injury and could not rotate arm/wrist very well when he was in rehab phase... but the forward hinge/swing with RPB gave him no pain, so he went PH and used RPB to flip... a very natural...
  2. Downgrade bh rubber from tenergy05

You want control oriented OFF rubber, then Aurus Soft and those in its category. You want it to be easier to make spin, then T05FX.
  3. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Before anyone cancels me on media, what I wrote was highly complimentary of TTS's recent improvement and performance.

  7. One Bat to rule them all, One Bat to find them, One Bat to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them

Good luck MOG, exceed the Mass Annihilation Unit, the Spartan, or the Mandalorian.
  8. Tibhar Aurus soft

Aurus and Aurus soft seem to last and play/perform FOREVER. I get rid of them after 300 hours, but they can certainly go 600 hrs. Aurus Soft is a 42 degree +/- feeling sponged control oriented offensive rubber that makes it easy to do just about every shot... which means it has CONTROL. You...
  9. Uprgrading to a faster and spinnier rubber

Allround Offensive control oriented rubbers let you hit harder and still land it, often with great spin. That is why I like that category of rubber and why I use Aurus Soft on BH. I use a slower OFF Minus all wood blade and that slower Aurus Soft rubber... but it is not slow and I can spin it...
  10. Uprgrading to a faster and spinnier rubber

FX-D will play harder than its rated hardness. Yiou can really crack it with FX-D. FX-P also plays slightly harder than its rated softness, but is an outstanding allround offensive oriented control rubber.
  11. Uprgrading to a faster and spinnier rubber

Sound is extreme soft. Anything you get nowadays gunna be harder. Try out FX-D or FX-P.
  12. How do i resolve some of my critical errors

One thing I can see is you STOP your shot after your follow through and HOLD for a time. You are not resetting until the ball is almost to or at the net on its way back. It appears like you are waiting and watching for the ball to fall and see the opponent hit before you do anything next. You...
  13. How to keep staying lower during the match?

Boost Natl H3 good enough, slap it on a W968 , and it won't matter.
  14. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

In American vernacular "it is a thing" means it is valid and liked or done by most. Nothing controversial at all.
  15. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Wow, blahness said spin to win, that is a thing.
  16. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Big D (go hard early) and Wrighty (don't piss away points early on) both make the case for the decision making and the trade-offs.
  17. How to return a forehand loop with side spin away from you

For now, use a LOOSE grip... use a very short stroke, like 30-40 cm mostly lower arm... allow ball to come to the strike zone... use a little leg and hip, don't over-do it. Go for 30 percent power or less - no more. You will not get a devastating shot in, but your shot will go in... and that...
  18. Video Footage Safe Thread

Somehow discovered how to double post. Wow.
  19. Video Footage Safe Thread

I still wanna hear @NextLevel articulate the differences of Ma Long and Rambo looping. I am not sure if I qualify anymore for the Rambo sweepstakes.
  20. Setup Questions

I have keine Ahnung why jk1980 would want to talk good sense on a thread that has quickly become wild dreaming equipment blind recommending oriented. Still, someone has to try to use reason. What the heck, I have tried that before too without much effect.
