Yeah, agree with Sam, different sponges will react differently and possibly the top sheet also has some say on this. So a softer elastic rubber may allow itself to stretch more than a harder rubber top sheet.

I usually use flared handles, but the old Tamca 5000 handle is a straight flared handle, so not ‘concave’ I really like this type of handle but they are not really that common, having said that the std concave flared handles are fine!!
