  1. Zhang jike ALC which rubbers will go

OK - Well..... Any rubber that you've used previously, and liked, will be fine. The blade will not drastically change the characteristics of a rubber you've used previously.
  2. Return of service on reverse sidespin

Long pips is never the solution...... to anything! ;)
  3. Zhang jike ALC which rubbers will go

What's your style of play? Any video online?
  4. Tibhar VS Unlimited Feedback

Hmmmm - I'll possibly give it a try if I don't get on with MX-S. I was convinced by this mini review from a few years ago - Completely forgot it existed! lol https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/showthread.php?14035-Tibhar-EVO-MX-S-vs-The-Tenergy-Club!
  5. Video of a session from me!

Doing well buddy! Just keep practicing as much as you can. I'd say the investment in coaching early on, will be the most valuable thing you can do. Once you've got the mechanics right (before you fall into too many bad habits), you'll be well on your way to improving. Good luck!
  6. Tibhar VS Unlimited Feedback

By "fall of a cliff", I mean the MX-P is excellent straight out of the packet - Good for 2-3 weeks, but then the performance of it is perhaps 50% of when it was new (making up the figures to demonstrate what I mean). Whereas I've found Tenergy to be a gradual decline - It's excellent out of the...
  7. Tibhar VS Unlimited Feedback

A few reasons - None of which are concrete, and I may end up changing anyway! But..... 1. I wanted to increase the spin on my shots, whilst still playing a full stroke - I found that with T05, I'd occasionally punt the ball long, and with reports of MX-P being as quick/quicker than T05, I...
  8. Tibhar VS Unlimited Feedback

Clearly no one is using it ;) I've just ordered one - With MX-S on both side (moving away from T05). I'll report back when I've had a knock!
  9. Looping bat

Hi Joe, no need to apologies - I think people jump to conclusions about similar threads, because 99% of the time they end up being a complete waste. However, in your case, I can see exactly where you are coming from, and why you are asking. If you can try a few different types of blade (ALC vs...
  10. Tibhar VS Unlimited Feedback

Hey everyone, Potentially looking to change my set up - But wanted some feedback from anyone whose used this. Firstly, I seem to have come across conflicting information - Is the VS Unlimited absolutely 100% identically to the CAA Unlimited (apart from the colour of the handle?) Secondly -...
  11. Calling all 'TALL' Players!

I'm 6ft 4 - I rarely work on footwork (I probably should)..... Some thoughts though. Standing close to the table for quick exchanges are not going to end well for you - You can block, and punch on the backhand, but if you are playing someone decent, you'll always lose out here. I stand 1 to 2...
  12. My Table Tennis Youtube Channel!

Hi Keenan, It would be useful if you stated where the info came from, and if it's absolute fact - Or rumour. Take the Dima "Tenergy, heavily boosted" comment - Is that a fact? If so..... Do you have the source? Cheers!
  13. Does Equipment Matter: Pro vs. Pro

I'll be completely honest and say that I haven't read the entire thread here - Quite frankly, after the first 40 posts, I got the message. To me, an online forum troll is someone who repeatedly (key word), looks to take things off topic, and generally cause a nuisance. I have absolutely no...
  14. Table tennis sparing and coaching

Awesome stuff! Good luck with the coaching!
  15. Table tennis sparing and coaching

Yes please :) Do you play in any UK leagues?
  16. Table tennis sparing and coaching

Hi Radoslav, Do you have any videos of you playing online?
  17. Transferring conscious to subconscious

Yeah, it sounds to me like it's just a little lack of experience. The more matches you play, the less you think, and the more your brain just takes over. If you train well, your body will play well, and shots will become second nature to you. I've always been someone who believes in playing...
  18. Transferring conscious to subconscious

Others might disagree, but there is no substitute for experience. The more matches you play, the less nervous and tense you'll get in the match. You'll also want to keep practicing a lot in training - Get the muscle memory used to the shots, and then let the body take over when it comes to the...
  19. I’m qualifying for the English nationals help

@Carl - He's clearly trolling. Ghost, you have a coach. Your coach will be able to tell you, and show you things that this forum can't. The advice on this forum is ideally for those who do not have access to a coach, or are looking for some general help - Not the specifics you are looking for...
  20. I’m qualifying for the English nationals help

Suffer? No. But whether you realise it or not (I'm not sure), you are spamming the forum with thread after thread on very specific things to do with your game. Create ONE thread, about your game, you can use it to monitor your development, and everyone will be far more willing to help - If you...
