  1. Recommendations for CPEN blade

I think the idea of those blades is pretty good, makes sense to have a better hook point for the index finger. Is there any disadvantage of this? I guess it didn't really prevail in the market because there are very few new cpen players and the old guys would continue to use the old style.
  2. Any YEO replacement/copy?

  3. Lower quality of table tennis blades - Donic

That doesn't look a production error but rather like a handling or shipment mistake
  4. How to handle short and half-long serves to FH?

Not the most advanced solution but a long and fast push can be a decent solution.
  5. A good downgrade from Fan Zhendong ALC?

Maybe an inner carbon blade if you are generally good enough to handle carbon?
  6. Backhand Technique

Does equipment really play a role here? Maybe it creates the last 2 percent but I'm sure they could hit a great BH with almost any rubber.
  7. Do you re-use glue application sponges?

I just recently found out that you can wash the little sponges when using water based glue (before it has dried of course). Are you doing that or are you just using a new one every time?
  8. Dr Neubauer Blades

    Yes https://www.tabletennis11.com/other_eng/blades-penholder
  9. BH rubber for CPEN

BTW is there a reason why not leave a gap on the BH side too instead of just on forehand side? If you hit rpb with Pointed fingers your fingers won't touch the backside the first 2 centimeters or so, so why not save the weight? I don't use a gap on the BH side either but I don't really know why.
  10. Palio AK47 appreciation topic

I never really liked it much but I have a 1 ply jpen bat with it and I really like hitting forehands with it. I rarely play it though because I prefer RPB over TPB but for forehand I like it.
  11. How to get better at reading serves and returning them?

I'm not really a good player but I started this thread about what helped me. https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/topics/idea-for-training-serve-receive.32412/#post-433873 Basically you always want to touch the same side of the ball as the opponent does. If he hits an inside spin serve...
  12. Illegal serves solution: why not make BH serve mandatory?

I thought about this. The illegal serve debate never really ends and for umpires that is very hard to judge. Wouldn't mandatory BH serves resolve that issue? With BH serve it is very hard to block vision at contact and it would be much easier to judge for umpires. Sure it would require some re...
  13. BH rubber for CPEN

Maybe try a 1.8mm esn rubber? Most Chinese rubbers are max and thus not light. But at 1.8-1.9 you still can loop but you get a very light rubber. Also you could use a lighter blade.
  14. How do i resolve some of my critical errors

I'm not really qualified to give advice but you seem to take a huge, very long backswing. Are you getting time stressed when an opponent blocks it back fast?
  15. How far do you think Sun Yang can go?

I think muramatsu does that. See this video at 1:22. Black side is his pips side and he attacks a short and high dropshot with it.
  16. Aliexpress Singles Day Sale 2023

How is the quality control of those bats? Maybe one is significantly heavier or has different thickness in the layers?
  17. How far do you think Sun Yang can go?

Or he emigrates to a small European country like wang Yang or Cheng weixing did and plays bundesliga and olympic games:)
  18. How far do you think Sun Yang can go?

I don't think it is possible to win a World Championship as a chopper anymore. The last World champion chopper was like in the mid 80s. I think about top25 in the world is the ceiling for a chopper and that only if he is excellent at attacking too.
  19. what happened in this match

Imo it is malpractice that wtt forces injured or ill players to play as that is dangerous for players long term health. I understand they don't want withdrawals for no reason but then just get an official tournament physician who looks at players who claim to be injured and decide.
  20. what happened in this match

I would guess more some Kind of mental blackout/acute depression rather than match fixing. If you want to throw a match for betting purposes you would be stupid to put in no effort at all, if you would try to hide it but would try to lose the sets 11-8 and maybe play normal rallies and miss the...
