  1. Rubber for chinese loop technique

When I tried Chinese rubber that was an issue I had. It is great for looping or also chopping or pushing but you always need to be active brushing the ball. If you just block the ball passively it isn't so good. So if there are still a lot of situations where your footwork isn't good and you...
  2. Major League Table Tennis (MLTT)

Even the German bundesliga really doesn't have a huge amount of spectators or viewers. 20 years ago the bundesliga could be seen in free TV but now it is only streaming and there aren't a ton of viewers (maybe like 10k per stream or so). Live audience is generally a few hundred people. They do...
  3. Are there any choppers that defeated Xu Xin?

@NextLevel Here is a video of ma te beating Xu xin in the Chinese super league in 2018
  4. How to keep staying lower during the match?

Got those angles of a pro player
  5. How to keep staying lower during the match?

That's true but you also see some guys who just bend at the waist with stiff legs which isn't great either.
  6. How to keep staying lower during the match?

What is your weight and Fitness? If you are overweight losing 10 or 15 pounds will make it easier to stay low. Also some strength training helps, either in the gym or just doing bodyweight squats, lunges and step ups (maybe use a backpack with some water bottles in it) and endurance training...
  7. Define MAX for me please

I think Max sponge is just an advertisement term that means "thickest sponge our company offers". As some have said already there is no max sponge in ittf, just overall rubber thickness.
  8. Is it OK to play when you're feeling hurt at some places?

Pro players will sometimes play with some kind of pain but if you can afford it it is better to wait till the pain is gone. Pain can be anything from a slight ailment to a serious tear of something. Often it will be nothing and go away soon but sometimes ignoring it can make it worse and hurt...
  9. Seeking Equipment Advice for Rapid Improvement in Table Tennis

I also switched to a carbon blade too early and it didn't go well. There are really good players above 2000 points using an all wood blade. If your blade feels too slow you need to improve your technique and maybe use waist and weight shift more, a pro could still hit super hard with an all...
  10. Euro technique with Chinese rubber, or Chinese technique with Euro rubber?

I always thought European means short motions with the arm bent and Chinese long swings with a more straight arm. But of course there are also Europeans with longer swings and Chinese with more compact swings (like lin gaoyuan)
  11. Blades Comparison

I can't really help you but it might help if you answer some questions: 1) level of play and years of experience playing 2) what playing style do you have 3) in what areas do you want your new blade to perform better than the old one and what didn't you like about the old one
  12. Who has the better at serving?

Doesn't dima use more variations than timo? I can't see the different spins he uses but dima will use BH serve, tomahawk and regular pendulum serve while timo basically just uses pendulum and reverse pendulum. Of course timo can generate a wide variety of different spins from that but it looks...
  13. Backhand Rubber for Reverse-Penhold Backhand (rpb)

On the other hand he likely won't use his backhand rubber much for short game and receive (unless for flick) because he plays penhold (unless he is like lebrun who only only plays RBP side even on pushes) so that factor would be to consider, wouldn't it?
  14. Backhand Rubber for Reverse-Penhold Backhand (rpb)

Maybe try a softer esn rubber. I use the gewo neoflexx 45 for rpb. It is neither very fast nor very spinny but it is good control and easy to loop
  15. WTT Champions Frankfurt 2023

This is definitely a big blow for CNT and it seems that the next Chinese generation is taking a bit longer than usual to reach the top level (players like wang Hao, FZD or Liu guoliang where world class at age 19) and maybe is a bit weaker period but I wouldn't declare LYJ the next Olympic...
  16. Is there a short-pimple play like inverted? Looking for an alternatives for Rakza PO

You could also try a slow low-ish grip inverted rubber in like 1.5-1.7mm thickness. That way you can't hit massive spin or speed but you can control the ball well while hitting and occasionally loop a ball too.
  17. Two new Cybershapes from Stiga (Clipper & AC)

I think it is smart to sell that shape with other compositions too because they put in the Marketing effort so why not try to sell other stuff too. The price Tag is definitely expensive for an all wood blade, usually you would expect a higher end all wood blade by a good brand to be like 50-60...
  18. Greetings from a SANWEI Official

Andrea said that the 75 is a fake and not a real product of sanwei
  19. C-pen handle shape

For me the round shape is easier for rpb use since I can twist the bat so it is a little more open.
  20. C-pen handle shape

Which handle shape for cpen do you prefer? There isn't much talk about penhold handle shapes other than cpen and jpen but I think there are different shapes for cpen too. Some grips are more round, Others are more square and others more flat and wide. Are there advantages for each handle...
