The ABS ball came to the world tour last year, there’s a big difference between ABS and CA and yes, I think it is one of the reasons why the Chinese seem to perform worse. LGL‘s departure is another factor for example.

There is not that much faster equipment on the market regarding rubbers compared to faster blades. a step up from Vega Pro would be Tenergy 05, it has really similar characteristics but it’s just faster, spinnier etc. other rubbers like MXP also differ a lot in throw etc. i would also recommend...

Sometimes he's a bit too passive it seems. Like in a push rally where he could attack, then pushes one more and the opponent takes the initiative and he blocks it out... Happened a few times. Plastic ball needs more aggressiveness.

I like the ball for practicing. What I found out was that it is a lot smoother that the other D40+ I got. It’s basically as smooth as a celluloid ball :o
